I will NEVER do business at Auto Gallery by their choice to employ people who are rude and outwardly disrespectful to customers. I randomly got a piece of mail about Auto Gallery's "Bigger Summer Liquidation" event. I "won" a $1,000 Walmart gift card in their mini-game (get three symbols in a row to win). I already had a feeling it wasn't true, but I wasn't doing much today and only live less than 20 minutes away so I felt like my loss wouldn't be too great if it was just a scam. I read the fine print that said prize not guaranteed, so I could already read the writing on the wall. When I got there, I met a lady who also "won" the $1,000 WalMart gift card. We laughed together and said that there was probably no way we both won and that we wouldn't let them try to sell us a car, as we were only there for our "prize." When we walked in I went with the temporary employee named Cory (NOT THE PERMANENT WORKER CORY GILLESPIE). He was a darker skinned older black guy. I could tell from the get go that the vibes between me and Cory were off. A few highlights were that he told me how difficult my name was. He said that there is no way children could say my name. I told him that I was actually a teacher and have taught even 3 year olds who have no problem saying my name. He then asked me, "are you married or can you make your own decisions?" I told him that even if I was married I'd be able to make my own decisions. He then acknowledge and he said he shouldn't have said it that way. These two comments were no big deal, but it just gives you an idea that me and temporary worker Cory were not jiving. The real conflict came when the lady I walked in finished before I did. She stopped by my table (while I was still talking to temporary worker Cory) and told me that it wasn't a gift card and that you'd have to spin to actually get a prize. She "won" the cheap consolation prize which was s "Smart Watch" you'd be able to buy at 5 below. She gave me her watch because she didn't want it. I tried to tell her I didn't want it because I already had a watch, but she left it on the table and left the building. Well her reaction and I guess her telling me "early" that it wasn't a real prize made temporary worker Cory mad. He then completely changed his tone and started talking to me disrespectfully and told me that I could just leave now and that I wasn't going to get a gift card or spin and that I could just take that lady's Smartwatch. That's when I got mad because just because the random lady didn't want to watch and told me about it, doesn't give this man a reason to start talking to me nasty. He then asked me to come over and spin for my prize. I told him I wasn't talking to him unless he apologized for how he talked to me and being nasty. He then started to fuss and argue with me. I got the manager (a pleasant possibly Indian guy) and he apologized profusely. I got to digitally "spin" for my prize and of course I got a Smart Watch lol, which was fine. They just "gave" me the Smart Watch the lady had already given me, which was fine regardless since I didn't really need the watch. I got to talk to Cory Gillespie who was really kind and explained that the rude Cory wasn't a permanent employee and that he apologized on his behalf and asked me to return if I was interested in trading in or getting a new car. I appreciated the apology, but there is no way I would return to a place where their employees (I don't care if they're temporary or permanent, they are working for the company and a reflection on them) talk so nasty to a person for no real reason. The company knows that their ad is purposely misleading. I'm sure the lady that was annoyed by the watch isn't the only person who will get frustrated by not winning the thing they were promised. They should be prepared for people to be annoyed by the lack of follow through. It's a great tactic to get potential customers in the building, but they should be prepared for potential backlash from people. Not take it out on others who just happen to be nearby. read more

They don't deserve a 1 star, they deserve 0 stars! I am not the one who ever went to this place or bought a car there. My daughter did and what a huge mistake that was. How they treat her affects my life!! We live together and share bills since the economy is bad. The car she has she got 2 years ago. The first week she had it the transmission went out. The car was in the shop for nearly a month. A few months later the cam shaft supposedly went out and that took them 6 months to fix!!! The car is out of the shop for maybe a month and then the valves needed to be replaced and these people took 7 months to decide if the warranty would cover it. I have never in my life heard of a warranty taking 7 months to decide if they are going to pay for repairs or not. So this car has been just sitting in the shop legit more than it's been on the road! They don't offer to help with payments or offer a rental car for in the mean time. So we are stuck with one car trying to figure it out and making payments on a car that is sitting at their shop. Just sitting!!! I'm so angry with this place. Someone please tell me why they sold someone this car in the first place?! My daughter had to drive my car and I had to ride with my sister since we both work and we both have to make a living to survive in life. So that is how this horrible place has affected my life! I never ever will buy anything from this place and I will be SURE everyone I know, knows the truth about how they lie and cheat people. To make this real life event even better. This car came out of the shop and 2 days later it's right back. This car is back in the shop as I'm typing this! Please Mr owner. Buy this car back for yourself! Buy this car for your child! Please buy your own product! Buy this car since you want to sell a car that NEVER should have been sold in the first place! Never buy a car from here, if you actually want to be able to drive it. I have never in my life heard of any place doing people this dirty! You are crooks! Stealing from people. And your employees are so rude and disgusting to paying customers. Had appointment at 11 for oil change..girl that took order on phone had us as new customers. Had been there numerous times. Wanted oil changed in 2022 Denali truck. Order was written up as tire rotation and oil change. At 11:45 truck haven't been moved. One car was in bay being worked on. Ask same girl in service for keys. She was very rude and hesitated. Finally got keys and went to front to see Mike. Explained the problem to him and he called the service manager(same person that had the keys) to office. Mike told him to see what was going on..he acted like really had no knowledge of it. We said don't bother we want be back. Worst service we have ever had from them. Why make appointments. People have schedules and other things to do. Would not recommend them to anyone.. read more

Buyer beware. I took my truck in for routine service and was quoted a price for additional service that was Over $200 more than a competing Chevy dealer. I've taken my truck to Chevy dealers all over the country and have never run into this issue. In addition, it appears their waiting room furniture was picked up from the curb on big trash day or stolen from Honey Boo Boo's front porch. read more

Scheduled an appointment for 7:30am for an oil change/tire rotation and windshield wiper replacement. Knowing the mechanics do not get there until 8am. I called at 10am asking if my truck was ready. Was told that the oil change and tire rotation was done but they were working on all the recalls. I told them I was not aware of any recalls. The service guy finally asked me what my first name was, once I told him he said he made a mistake. "There was another lady with same last name, that came in after me and she had all the recalls". His exact words---SHE CAME AFTER ME. I then asked again if MY truck was ready and said he would get the mechanics right on it. 40mins later it was done. When I arrived, my truck was still in the bay. At past services, when it was finished the mechanics pulled it out. This should have been an 1 to 1.5hr job at most. Turned into 3hrs--8am until I picked up at 11am. read more

Horrible service department! We dropped our Tahoe off here for a door handle repair. On the 7th day we called them to say we needed to pick up the car that afternoon. They said no problem, part would be in that day (should not have taken a phone call from us a week later for them to remember to pick up the part!) & it was only a 30 min repair. We arrived at 3 pm to pick up the car & it had not been moved or touched since we had dropped it off the week before. We received no call to notify us that the part wasn't in yet. So we left with our car & no repair made. Huge waste of time!! It sat in their parking lot for a week for nothing. We still have to take it somewhere else to get it fixed. Will never use this Chevy dealer again! read more

This is the worst service department I have ever delt with. I live close to the dealership so I used them because they are close but never again. They make promises about when your car will be done and then not call you that it will be 3 hours longer. They forgot to charge my oil when that's what it was there for. I have to call to ask if parts are in. They don't have a clue. Even tried calling the owner he didn't call back either. Not sure what they are doing but they give Chevrolet service a bad name and I would suggest you stay away. read more

Check engine light came on during a family trip over the holidays. Called Goodmark and their service department said that they were about to close but would stay open until I could get there. When we arrived, the service manager and mechanic checked out the car and diagnosed the problem and made sure that they had the necessary parts. They helped us move our family to their waiting room and provided refreshments, crayons & coloring books to keep the kids occupied. The service team stayed late after the dealership closed to fix our car and get back on the road in time to get to Grandma's. The price was quite reasonable and their hospitality and professionalism were incredible. Can't say enough good things about them. read more

Best car buying experience in my entire life. The salesman, David, and staff were extremely helpful throughout the entire process.

I am a female and took my car in for new brake pads. The service department replaced my brake pads and turned(machined) my rotors and charged me just under five hundred dollars. Two weeks later I returned to the service department because my brakes were not working properly and occasionally making a grinding noise at which time I was told my rotors need to be replaced at a cost of around eight hundred dollars. There was nothing wrong with my rotors when I took my car in for new pads. I sought a second opinion at another dealership and was informed I did need new rotors but only because my rotors were not turned correctly and were grooved out. I returned to Goodmark Chevrolet once again and was told I had not been driving my car properly and that is what damaged the rotors. My car is still under factory warranty and I have been driving for 30 years and have NEVER had to replace a set of rotors on any vehicle I have ever owned so I think I know how to drive. The service department damaged my car parts in an attempt to make more money and because I am a female thought I would accept their explanation of it being my fault but I didn't. I have since filed a complaint with GM as well as the Georgia Department of Law consumer Protection Agency. I would not recommend this service department to any females because they will attempt to manipulate and take advantage of our lack of autumobile service knowledge. The only solution they were willing to offer me was to reduce the price of the replacement rotors in which I declined because I don't feel I should have to pay for their incompetent employees who damaged my rotors; hence, that is why I filed formal complaints and am waiting for a response. read more
