The guy working dropped A bunch of F bombs on me and told me to just leave without paying, then went into their system and deleted my service record in What I can only assume was an attempt to hide that they did the bad work. Called management and was told the store manager was on vacation and would reach out to me when he returned, it had been 2 weeks sisnce then today so I called and tride to talk with Tom (the manager) about it and got told "we didn't charge you what's the issue?" (Well Tom, I have to pay $500 now instead of $200 because your worker did bad work.) He then immediately hung up on me for "cussing" because I said "the issue is your Ruined my window with shity Work" I would never trust this location, bad work, disrespectful, and dishonest! And for the record this location also had to reinstall our Subaru window years ago 3 times just to do it right so this isn't my first issue here. And safelite in Madison Wisconsin had repaired all of our fleet trucks at wave communications for years and we have had multiple repairs, I am well aware of what the quality should be. I will be following up in small claims. Trying to save other from dealing with this, luckily I one who can afford this.

I had the unfortunate experience of my rear wheel coming off a couple hundred miles after a local…read moreChicago area dealer did a tire rotation on my aluminum rims. They apparently didn't tighten my lug nuts properly. I was already in rural northern Wisconsin, about 300 miles from home by the time I started hearing a terrible noise. It was 10:30 at night and no shops along the way were open. As a result, I tried to "limp" into a larger town to have a repair shop take a look the next morning. I got into Iron Mountain, MI, about 5 miles from my destination which was back across the state line into Wisconsin, when the tire came off. It was 11:30 at night, in the middle of town, with no local shops or roadside assistance to come get me. The tire tore up the rear of my vehicle causing extensive damage. It was obvious that I needed a local shop to access the damage and do repairs on my vehicle. When I finally got a tow truck to come, he towed me to the local dealer. The next morning, the dealer called to say that due to the pandemic they were very short of workers in their service department and that they'd likely not be able to touch my vehicle for another two weeks. I called my insurance company and they found a local Gerber shop in Kingsford MI, about 5 miles away. Gerber came and picked up my vehicle and towed it to their shop. Once there, they began evaluating my damage immediately. Through out the long arduous process of estimates and repairs, everyone there was excellent to work with. Brad kept me in the loop with status updates every couple of days, while he worked my insurance company to process my claim. A side issue that I'd never thought of was that being stuck in a small town meant very few, in fact no, rental cars being available. Again, because of the pandemic. Brad arranged for a loaner from Enterprise that came from about 100 miles away and it worked out great. But, I had my dog with me and I couldn't take her in the rental, per the agreement, so I was still "stuck" away from home for 30 days while the repairs were approved and finally made. Once I got my vehicle back, Brad said he double checked my other 3 wheels and found that all three locking lug nuts were loose. The dealer must not have tightened those with the special key after the rotation. Since picking up my car, I've been very satisfied with how it's driven and the work Gerber did. It looked and drove like a brand new vehicle. I'd highly recommend Gerber to anyone. Great job guys. And, thank you, again.

I will never go to the Safelite for anything winter three times on Thursday from 130 till 433…read moredifferent times and they were not open. The sign on the door said open 8 to 5 Monday through Friday.. Went back on Friday at 10 o'clock same sign but they were closed went around the back knocked on the door and the sign said close no one there called corporate and they said they were supposed to be there. They called and got no answer they called two other numbers and got no answer. How can you run the business and not be open. We had a broken back window, we wanted. Just get wrapped with plastic till they could get a new one for us. For a different place in town, which is a lot better in right away did what we wanted to do so we never go to Safelite for anything. Found Brian's window repair in town and they were very very helpful. Thanks to Brian. We got it solved.
