I think this may be my first ever review of a car mechanics, so a definite life milestone right…read morethere I would say ;) Nominally one doesn't get overly excited about places like this, after all, if you're coming here it would suggest that your car is poorly and you are likely to be landed with a hefty bill for your troubles. But Tuga Garage is a place you can be confident knowing that your car will be looked after to the highest possible standard! The chap that runs this place is Bruno, a friendly and talented mechanic from Portugal. I've only been using him for about 6 months and discovered the place after some darn right rotten experience with other local garages. Its taken me a while to find someone I can trust, but this is definitely a place I am happy to award a 5 star rating too. The big difference I have found with Tuga is the customer service. Work has always been done in a timely manner and Bruno communicates with you well, letting you know how much parts are gonna cost and when he expects the job to be finished. Also, its the most spotless and well organised garage I have ever seen, so for a neat freak like me, this gets extra brownie points in my book :) Although Bruno is a specialist with Peugeot and Citroen, he is more than capable with any other makes. Although I've only used Tuga Garage on a couple of occasions I have found the work to be extremely professional and very good value. It's not the kind of garage that is intimidating either, so if you are in need of a helpful and reliable mechanic, Bruno is your man!

At first seemed ok, although never once was I given a receipt.The other year while my car was in for repair I was told I needed my full braking system done, which I paid for. Approx 18 months later again i was told my brakes "were a disgrace" and needed done..again.I again paid for this work,i then had to return car for various reasons..front brakes seizing on, also handbrake seized on. I have now just been informed my rear brakes have never been changed in years, never mind twice in under 2 years, only adjusted to improve them. With no receipts I have no comeback for this. SO DONT BE ROBBED LIKE ME!!

Ross will always try and give you the best Deal possible and will not rip you off. He is an old school Mechanic with a dedicated team of trained professionals. Many Mechanics will just plug a Computer in without actually inspecting the Car. Ross will have his Team have a proper look at it and tell you your options. wouldn't even give this place the one star the only reason I am is because u need to rate it…read more Bought a ford ranger a year ago and had nothing but problems with the car from going into limp mode spontaneously 3 weeks after buying it to the electrics being all over the place with having to turn my lights to off mode to have them on. Had to buy a new battery after 4 weeks due to the electrics running it down, had to get an inspector sent from finance company to check over the car who unfortunately did not find anything at that time even though everything was present. After a lot of money already spent and being told by this company that it's 'not their problem now' as I'd had it 4 weeks is just laughable. Now onto the 1st year Mot which cost £1500 needing glow plugs , new back box exhaust as the one on it had a massive hole in it even though I use it for domestic driving, not to mention the engine management and abs lights continually coming on. I have my local garage who has photos of underneath my car and diagnostics to back up it was a wreck before I touched it with wiring patched up appallingly, the whole underneath of this car and throughout the electrics were shot and this car had cost me in 1 year £10,000 with the £8000 car I traded in and the mot which I'm seeing nothing back for. worst of it is I still owe £10,000 for this heap of shit. DO NOT TOUCH THESE GUYS WITH A BARGEPOLE YOU WILL REGRET IT.
