They worked closely with my insurance agency to handle all the repairs efficiently and even arranged for a rental car to be dropped off and picked up from their shop, which was greatly appreciated. Throughout the repair process, they kept in touch with me, and the quality of their work was outstanding. They even cleaned both the inside and outside of my car before I picked it up. It felt like I was picking up a brand new vehicle! This is the only shop I would choose for any of my vehicles when repairs are needed anytime in the future, or recommend.

The people are so kind and thoughtful, and you can even rent a car if you're a one car family like the two of us. A total professional shop, yet warm and caring. We liked the estimate, we rented a similar size car with AWD and left ours for just a few days. When we went to pick it up, a nice young man pulled it right up to the door for us, and he washed it, AND, he even cleaned front interior, it looked like new again, the dash, the doors! He even washed our floor mats! AND here is something that has rarely happened to us, but points to their honesty, the final bill in our case, was less that their estimate! I promise when we say this, we are not exaggerating, this autobody shop is outstanding, because the people are outstanding!

They inspected it right away, and found that I needed new springs in the front--they said mine were broken. Their two options to fix the issue would have cost me approximately $615 (the "cheap" option) to $665. Well, folks, Tracey Phelps doesn't have $700 kickin' around, so I got a second opinion. My boyfriend, Jake, took a gander at the springs and being a car guy, noticed that the springs WEREN'T BROKEN AT ALL. The paint was peeling off, but otherwise totally fine! He then told me that the Autosmith tried to rip him off in the past and that I should head over to Bob's Auto in Essex. All in all, it cost me $65 for an oil change and inspection at Bob's Auto, as opposed to ten times that at Autosmith for work that I didn't even need. I know Autosmith is trying to expand and pay for their new stuff, but can they give their neighbors a break? I can't afford to pay for your new shop, and neither can most of us in this cruddy recession.

Was fooled into thinking they had it under control and knew what they were doing. Finally got my car back and has not been the same since. Had a reputable mechanic look their work over afterwards and found parts were mangled and wiring was almost compromised. And the simple fix that I had originally gone to them for was never even addressed, they just bypassed it. While they were sympathetic and I wasnt charged an unbelievable amount considering how long they had it, I was still lied to. This could have all been avoided had they admitted they didnt know what they were doing. I now have to undo their hack job and replace everything with original parts and pay someone to do it right.
