    Doug is one of the nicest, friendly and very supportive used car dealer in Gallup would recommend this place vs other used car lots.

    On October 5, 2024, we purchased a 2024 Chev. Traverse and we only had this vehicle for three…read moreweeks. My family and I were so excited that we got a new vehicle especially the grandkids. On October 24, 2024, something happen to the engine and it was making weird noises, the vehicle was shaking, engine was smelling like rubber, engine light and couple other lights came on too. As I was driving it back home the vehicle shuts down for ten minutes and I turn it back on and we went straight home. I told everyone in the vehicle to get off because I thought the vehicle was going to blow up. As soon as I shut off the engine the fan was still on, I believe it was trying to cool down the engine. After it cool down, I turn the vehicle back on it still was shaking, making weird noises, and smelling like rubber. The next day Friday, October 25, 2024, I called Amigo Chevrolet and I let them know what happen to the new 2024 Traverse. They gave me AAA 1-800-number, so I called AAA, and they came and towed it back to Amigo. That evening I called Amigo and ask the Sales lady (Clara) that purchase the vehicle to us. I asked what's the update with our new traverse and she informs me that they only have one Service Tech., and he won't be back until Monday. I said "ok" I'll call back next week. The following week I called Amigo Chev. and I talked to (Preston) at the Service Department he informed me that they did a diagnosis test and said there was a dead cylinder one in the engine that was not producing the PSI, and they're going to do more diagnostic tests on it. I said "ok, I'll call back next week." The following week Monday, November 6, 2024, we went to Amigo. The sales lady (Clara) informed us that she was told to stay out of it and she told us to talk to (Preston) in the Service Department. We went to (Preston) and he informed us that his department has nothing to do with it and to go back to the Finance Department. We went back to the sale lady (Clara) and she went back to the Service Department and retrieved a 1 800 number to GMC company. We called the GMC company and explained what happened to our new 2024 Chev. Traverse and all we were told is they will inform their supervisor and they'll contact us within 3 to 4 business days. A week passed and no one from GMC returned our call back. On November 15, 2024, I called Sandia Lab. Federal Credit Union (Darlene) and I explained everything to them what had happened to our new vehicle. She informed us that her supervisor will contact us with in 3 to 4 business days. Same day I called GMC company and talked to(Karen) and asked what's the update on our case. She informed me that they closed our case due to unable to contact our home number. This person Karen reopened the case and will send all the information to her supervisor, and someone will contact me or my cousin within 3 or 4 business days. Today is Saturday, November 23, 2024, and have not heard from Sandia lab. Federal Credit Union or GMC company and not even Amigo Chevrolet. I know they're all open on Saturdays. This is ridiculous and Amigo's has bad customer service. We are not giving this company business no more and I will let people know out there. We deserve a brand-new vehicle and I'm not taking that 2024 traverse back because even though they fix it something might happen to the engine again. Maybe, we should get our old 2020 traverse back from Amigo's Chevrolet. Six or Seven years ago we purchase a Nissan impala from Amigo Chev., and we only had this vehicle for only one month because the engine locked up. I'm so crazy to come back to Amigo Chevrolet. Look at where we are now. I don't know what to do Maybe I should call KOAT channel in New Mexico hopefully they can help us. My bank sent them a check 5 months ago for the car, and they don't even have the title yet. This to me is a breach of contract and the finance terms should be rendered false or fraudulent which could result in legal actions. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS!

My car has a check engine light on. The plan was, on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, to swap out cars so that I could have a safe car to drive to Utah to see family. My partner and I called THREE TIMES to confirm they would be open on Wednesday, specifically citing the car that would be picked up, so they knew what customer to expect. They let employees out last minute and did not call us. I was stranded in Gallup, unable to drop off my car to Gurley Ford or pick up my partners car. I was stranded in Gallup the night before Thanksgiving, unable to prepare for the holiday. I took my car to Autozone for the check engine reading and was advised to wait to drive back home because it was dangerous. In the dark in freezing weather without cell phone service, I could literally die. I spent over $200 for hotel, food, a change of clothes, toiletries, and other expenses that I needed because I was still wearing my work clothes that day. I have not been able to see my family since 2019 due to Covid, and I had to cancel my trip because I was unable to pick up a reliable car from Gurley Ford. To add insult to injury, when we spoke with the general manager, Steve, he told us we weren't telling the truth, and that he was sorry for how we *felt.* Absolutely no apology for *what they did.* I will never go here and advise, if you are in the Four Corners and looking for somewhere to take your Ford, to skip Gallup altogether and go to Cortez. I heard good things about Kidd. This place is incompetent, inconsiderate, and literally dangerous. They won't even drop off our car after learning what happened. Let alone provide us with any sort of discount. They do not care about their customers, or people's safety for that matter. Disgusted.

I also had my battery replaced here and one cover was not put on right and the other cover is missing. Never coming back here again!!!!
