I had a genuinely frustrating experience at Auto Boom in Scottsdale that I feel other buyers should know about. I went in ready to purchase a vehicle -- not just browsing, but serious and ready to move forward. The salesman, Jake, ran my credit, which I agreed to because I trusted that meant they'd actually follow through and help me find the right car. Unfortunately, I was told I wasn't approved for the vehicle I initially had my eye on. That's fine -- these things happen. So I asked Jake to look into sourcing a Tesla Model 3 instead, which was well within the amount I was actually approved for. That's where things fell apart. After running my credit, I got completely ghosted. No follow-up call, no text, no email -- nothing. For a dealership to pull a hard inquiry on someone's credit and then just disappear when it's time to actually help them buy a car is unacceptable. I don't take having my credit run lightly, and I expect a basic level of follow-through when a dealership does so. Needless to say, I didn't wait around. I went to another dealership just a couple of days later and drove away with a car. If you're looking for a dealership that actually respects your time and your credit, I'd think twice before working with Jake at Auto Boom. read more

Buyers Beware!!!!! Be very careful when dealing with these people. They will advertise and list a vehicle for sale, then claim that it cannot be sold- when they realize it can be sold for a higher price. These are the kind of people that have no moral compass- will never deal with them again. The sad part- they seem to not realize how damaging this kind of business practice can be. I had a very disappointing experience with Auto Boom. I do not recommend using their services I purchased a 2015 Mercedes G550 remotely after being told the vehicle was in great condition and that a pre purchase inspection was unnecessary because the dealership had already inspected it. I relied on those representations when moving forward with the purchase. When the car arrived, the same day I discovered multiple serious issues that were never disclosed. These included oil contamination in the coolant system, significant rust beneath the windshield, and frame damage under the radiator. These are major defects that clearly existed prior to delivery and should have been disclosed by any dealer performing a basic inspection. I immediately documented everything with photos and repair estimates and sent them to the salesperson. After initial contact, the dealership went completely silent and made no effort to resolve the situation. This was not a minor oversight. It was a material misrepresentation of the vehicle's condition, and the lack of communication afterward made the situation worse. I would strongly caution anyone considering buying from Auto Boom, especially if purchasing remotely. Do not rely on their inspection claims and get your own independent inspection no matter what you are told. read more

I called the dealership on Monday and Jake answered the phone told me the truck we were looking for was still for sale. We told him we were very interested. We were about an hour away. We were about halfway there when he sent a text that the GM said the car was nowhere to be found. It was at the detailer until Wednesday morning. I've been waiting until today to get a callback from Jake never heard anything so I called around noon and the truck had sold. Zero communication just sold the truck from underneath us didn't tell us there was some one else looking at it, didn't give us an option just flat out told us we couldn't come see the truck. The most disappointing part was Jake never had the decency to text us that somebody was looking at it or that it had sold. I would never use this dealership again hence the 3.0 star review. read more

At first, I was really impressed with Auto Boom. The customer service during the sale was excellent -- they walked me through the process clearly and answered every questions I had when I purchased my 2014 Chevy SS less then a month ago, and everything seemed professional. Unfortunately, that changed after I discovered a major issue they failed to disclose: the car had 12-year-old tires on it. Anyone who knows cars understands that tire rubber begins to degrade after 6-8 years, no matter how much tread is left. Driving two hours back to Tucson on tires that old was extremely dangerous -- I could have had a blowout or much worse. It was stupid of me not to check the tire date codes before leaving, and I take full responsibility for that. But regardless, a reputable dealership -- especially one that claims their vehicles go through a thorough ASE-certified inspection -- should never let something this serious slip through the cracks. I find it hard to believe that any ASE-certified technician would consider 12-year-old tires "roadworthy." When I brought it to their attention and asked if they'd replace the tires, they offered to pay for half. While I wasn't thrilled with that offer (especially after spending a substantial amount of money on the car), I was still willing to meet them halfway. But once I agreed, they stopped answering my calls and texts altogether. That's what really disappointed me -- not just the tires, but the way they handled it after the sale. If Auto Boom truly values safety and customer satisfaction, they had a chance to show it here -- and they didn't. I wouldn't say the dealership is a scam, but I can't recommend them based on this experience. If you decide to buy from Auto Boom, do not take their inspections at face value. Double-check everything yourself, especially critical safety items like tires. Lesson learned -- the hard way. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! ABSOLUTE WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE. Currently, I am still waiting for the title /registration for a car I purchased on 3 October 2025 (164+ days ago a/o this review)! Auto Boom's admin office personnel told me on multiple occasions over text and 40+ emails that the title was requested and sent, but the lienholder never received it. I had to get management involved and they told me it should be resolved by 8 February. My lienholder still does not have the title and I am still unable to get my car registered in my state. My 2nd temporary plates are about to expire meaning I will be driving the car with invalid registration. I requested a 3rd set of temporary plates but still waiting to receive that. The dealership attributed it to admin paperwork problems between the state it was originally registered in to send it to AZ then they would send it to the central titling agency they use. The fact that they didn't even have the title in hand before they sold it to me seems like a questionable business practice. On a side note, but related to my experience, the sales process was okay, but the dealership misrepresented several vehicle options on their website and on the dealer stickers they provided me. Although they did agree to provide some compensation for these discrepancies and I ended up purchasing some of the options as a retrofit (costing me more $ out of pocket). The vehicle shipment was delayed several weeks due to various reasons, poor communication, and a constant change in their projected delivery dates. When the vehicle finally arrived, the gas tank was almost empty. I read reviews about this business after the fact and I wish I had done a better job of researching beforehand. Auto Boom needs to do a major assessment of their customer service, particularly after the sale is made. I can't even count how many emails and phone calls went unanswered/without follow-up. This place needs to do much better! read more

I purchased a 20 year old low mileage exotic car from them and they made sure it had no problem codes, a fresh battery and tires so I could drive it 1,000 miles home and enjoy bonding with the car. I do not recommend working with this dealer unless you thoroughly inspect the vehicle prior to purchasing. Unfortunately, I test drove a preowned Maserati that was very dirty after a severe dust storm. The sales representative said the car would be cleaned up and in mint condition. Unfortunately, I completed all of the paperwork online and had the vehicle delivered to my house. Vehicle arrived with a cracked windshield, severe scratches in the leather backseat, shipped paint from rock damage on the hood and mismatched tires. The sales person was not accountable and said there was nothing they could do since I already signed the paperwork. Very disappointed with their lack of accountability and misrepresentation of a mint condition vehicle. read more

I have done this before Wired money on a Tuesday and the car arrived 2 days later. When they said not a scratch, dent, ding or tear they were not lying. My Porsche 911 Carrera S showed up as they said. They responded to every text, phone call or email right away. Transport company they contracted was amazing as well. I appreciate AutoBoom for taking care of me even after the sale. In a nutshell I had found myself in a sticky situation and had to take my car to a dealership in California which incurred close to $400.00 in costs unrecoverable from insurance. Even though it was not Autoboom's problem, they reimbursed my money within a day (likely since it was less than a week since driving off of their lot) I feel It says a lot about the integrity of their company and entire team. I wanted to acknowledge that I have been very impressed with Auto Boom every step of the way. Honestly, I never want to step foot into another large dealership ever again and have already referred AutoBoom to friends and family. We found the car online then took a chance to visit the showroom. Gunner was the first person we met. He was knowledgeable and friendly and there was no pressure or hard sales tactic that made us uncomfortable. Communication was great, even after they closed for the night, we received replies via text to questions we had. The management was straight up with a fair negotiation and there were no games. They honored their quote, even over the weekend. They had even gone over and beyond without hesitation on a couple of things that really made this an exceptional buying experience for me/us - (this would never happen at a big dealership). Further, Ryan made the worst part of buying a car, the paperwork, simple, fast, and easy - a miracle. Wow! Lastly, what would a review be without some constructive criticism... The only critical comment I have (and I had to dig deep for it) is about the very ugly, cheap (mine already broke) white plastic keychain "gift" customers when a vehicle is purchased. Everything about Auto Boom oozes class and feels "Elite" except this one thing - I do not feel it reflects the kind of reputation they are building or the caliber of clientele they target. My experience at Auto Boom was good until it wasn't. I purchase a BMW M4 on March 29th 2024 from Thomas at Autoboom. Their lies started their stating an oil change was done, which I took to a mechanic afterward and the oil was black after 800 miles and theres no issues with the car to make it bad. On the we owe form, they did not hold up their end of the stick and addition action has been taken to resolve this issue. Their very nice and shiny until its time for them to hold up their end of the stick in all regards. If you find a car at Autoboom you like, do me the favor and keep looking to avoid any headaches I had to go through. read more
