He has an enormous amount of expertise and helped guide us through our first boat purchase. Unfortunately, when we bought the boat, the marina wasn't so kind. Richard took time out of his busy schedule to help my husband with the collection of the vessel. He dropped everything for THREE hours to help move the boat to another marina and ensured a safe boat transport . He went above and beyond! This was even two weeks after we closed on the boat and he had no obligation to do this. He really is a great person and we highly recommend him. Thanks, Richard!

We contacted Nathan and Eva at Marinelube and they "polished" our fuel to remove all of the water and bugs in our tanks. No more worries about a recurrence of the engine damage and the polishing was a fraction of the bill for the engine work. They were extremely flexible in scheduling the work and did everything dockside so we didn't have to move the boat. Nathan also installed fuel level sensors in our two tanks and a gauge so now we know at a glance how much fuel we have. Such a pleasure to work with (especially Eva) and highly recommended!!

What everyone says is absolutely true!…read more Chuck's Marine has been a staple in the Bay Area for decades, earning a stellar reputation for value, quality, and meticulous attention to detail. After hearing so many great things, I finally decided to have my 2001 Catalina 380 serviced by Chuck -- Damn! Why did I wait so long?. Chuck had previously worked on my boat, and it was clear from the moment he opened the engine compartment that he knew it inside and out. Dates of previous service, repairs, and replacements were clearly marked in Sharpie across the engine, transmission, and other components -- demonstrating his thoroughness and memory of the boat's history. During the service, Chuck was able to recall all past repairs and nuances the boat had experienced, which gave me great confidence. He spent the entire day performing a comprehensive service, including oil, fuel, transmission, and water filter changes, water pump repairs, alternator electrical checks, and thorough inspections of the transmission cable and steering quadrant. We also created a detailed list of everything that had been completed, as well as future recommendations for the boat. Before starting, Chuck was upfront about options for where and when he could work on the boat, as well as clear about costs and parts. This level of transparency and professionalism is exactly what every mechanic should strive for. I'm now officially a regular on Chuck's annual maintenance list and highly recommend his services to anyone in the Bay Area!
