The owner Alonzo came out and looked at the damage and decided im 10 seconds that that the damage was 4 to 5 thousand dollars. Said it would take him 2 weeks to do the job with an $1800 deposit. Took them almost two months to finish the job. Had to pay extra on my rental car because of it. Every time I called he had an excuse. 1st excuse was that the parts aren't in yet, 2nd excuse was he got COVID, and 3rd excuse was the holidays. Finally was able to come in and get it. Said "your car looks very good my friend." Car looked fine from the outside but didn't look at it completely until I got to a gas station. Said the work was $5,000 minus deposit. Of course it was. When I got to the gas station to refill my wiper fluid, it all dumped out the bottom. Never fixed the wiper fluid tank (said it would of been fixed), he put the Jeep letters on the hood too spaced apart, hood didn't sit on right, put my bumper on with chicken wire to hold it together, never replaced the hood sensor so my hood sensor said it was still open. The car had a sagging headliner that was not disclosed in the ad and so the dealer agreed to replace it under warranty. The stipulation was that I had to take it to a body repair shop in Freeport (we'll call them Gerbil Glass & Collision) and the quote for the repair must be submitted by the end of the initial warranty period (which was end of January). After much hemming and hawing from Gerbil it was now in the middle of January, and they still had not submitted the quote to the warranty company. I called the warranty company voicing my concern with Gerbil and they finally recommended Caliber Collision. Caliber got me in right away and handled everything with the warranty company. They kept me in constant communication with texts, emails, and had a weblink that showed the progress of my car while it was being repaired. They did excellent, quick work and the headliner looks like it came straight from the factory, better even!
