Faced the same issue as another Yelp user. Contacted Authentic Painting to schedule a time to come and get a bid. They were a no show, no call, no text. UPDATE: Since owner decided to accuse me of lying instead of being empathetic to the situation, I will attach the only evidence I have to back my case. We only spoke via telephone, so I have no text messages to prove that his company did not show up on the scheduled time. However, I have my phone bill that clearly shows I contacted Roberto's company in November of last year on 2 occasions. My phone bill clearly shows me contacting his business at 619-946-9174 (Authentic Painting). I have no reason to lie or make false accusations about his company. The first phone call was on 11/02/23, which lasted 1 minute. I can't prove whether he picked up the call or it went to voicemail so let's rule that out. The second phone call was on 11/03/23, which lasted 2 minutes. This is the phone call that I spoke with him quickly to describe the issue (my ceiling had peeling paint) and to schedule a time to inspect it further. I noted it down on my calendar, and when the time came, he never showed up nor call/text to follow-up. Of course Roberto would say the appointment was "never scheduled. It was 4 months ago, so how can you remember now right? My guess is we booked the appointment, and he never wrote it down, so he forgot. Clearly, he didn't care about customer service nor obtaining more business. I finally decided to write this review now after reviewing my notes of all the contractors that wasted my time during the renovation, and Roberto was one of them! His estimate was fair, far better than a competitor that didn't want to come to the house for an estimate, they just wanted pictures. Roberto was realistic in what was needed, just spot repair of drywall, not replacement of an entire ceiling. He was professional in demeanor and when I went to see his finished product (owner/client lives out of state), it was nicely done. He even repaired other blemishes in the ceiling, retextured and painted areas that were not in the estimate, at no additional cost. Roberto and his crew painted my garages, sheds, and exterior of my property. He replaced a fascia board as well. He gave a competitive quote, showed up on the scheduled date and finished in 4-5 days as promised. Immediately after the power wash there are some stains that leaped into the interior. He and his crew cleaned that up by the time the project was over. He even repaired my wooden fence and painted it. I had him come back to replace my exterior lights. Roberto and crew were amazing. They were reasonably priced, efficient, thorough, and professional. We initially just contracted with them to have all of our interior walls and ceilings painted, but they did such a good job, we added on repainting our cabinets in the kitchen, laundry, and hallway. They were very respectful of our home and time, and it was obvious they cared about the quality of their work.
