But the result was much more, the variety of flowers, shrubs and trees, (some bearing berries for birds) is the envy of the entire neighborhood. The plants have matured into a planned "painting" of contrasting foliage. My experience is that money spent outside of the house goes further than remodel money spent inside...maybe it is the "alive" thing that plants have. The wall only measures about 27 inches instead of the invoiced 36, and the grading was done so poorly that water pools in my yard. They also spread grass seed without doing anything to cover it, the seed never took, leaving bare patches everywhere. When I raised these issues, they dismissed my concerns instead of fixing them. I folded up the fence fabric and Taylor expertly cut off the top branches such that they precisely landed just a few feet from the fence posts.
