Delicious meal! We started with the Brussels sprout appetizer (Brussels sprouts with bacon apple and feta) We both had the chicken pot pie with the amazing garden salad( carrots, cucumber, edamame,with a large cornbread crouton!) the chicken pot pie had a lovely light flaky crust and lots of chicken and veggies. Very nice. Tried it out for the first time. Nice quiet, relaxed atmosphere, everyone is sociable and friendly. Drinks arrived quickly, correctly, and very yummy, followed by entrees which were also very yummy and very generous. Will definitely keep this place in mind when I'm back in town. One kind of sore point, and it applies to steak houses in general: please offer smaller portions. I'm not looking for a cheap deal, I realize a half-size doesn't mean half-price. But I can really only eat about 6 ounces of steak, plus fries (or potato) at a sitting, and that's if I don't have any appetizer. I really don't want to haul a box of leftovers home, either. I know many patrons want the "mostest for the prices" and want those 10- 16- ounces slabs of meat with a giant mound of fries. But not all of us. Some of us truly want a smaller portion and not feel guilty for not eating it all. Please consider this. read more

This place reeks of poor management. That said, our server worked hard and did a pretty decent job, but seemed a bit green and feeling his way along. We ordered an appetizer which was quite tasty but barely warm enough to eat. For entrees I had the Delmonico steak and my wife had the bison meat loaf. Hers was good, but mine was overcooked, and even less warm than the appetizer was. I ate a few bites and then concentrated on the baked potato, which was pretty good. They offered a reduction in our bill, but not a complete comp for my dinner. I felt bad for our server, and tipped him based on the full price. He handled an embarrassing situation admirably. I almost forgot, I had to send my draft beer back because it had crud on the glass. All in all, a two star experience at a five star price. read more

I was in Boulder to run a marathon. I drove up to Greeley to visit my friends. They took me here for an early dinner as it was their favorite local restaurant. Since we were there before 5 pm, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. We shared the coconut shrimp and I ordered the New York Strip Steak with a loaded baked potato. The steak was cooked perfectly at the requested medium rare. It was a proper recovery meal after running a marathon! We received good service from our waitress. One minor complaint was that there was a fly that kept hovering around our food. I guess I was pretty hungry as I got a picture of the menu, but not my delicious steak! read more

We flew into Colorado for our Son's birthday and Granddaughter's 7th and chose this restaurant for dinner for his Birthday! The service was absolutely Horrible, our female server had a terrible attitude, tossed our appetizer on the table which should've been our first clue to get out. We waited an hour for our food to arrive and had to ask repeatedly for water refills, remind the server of our previous drink requests while everyone else that came in after us was served and left while we waited with two young children! This might have been the single best meal and service I've had this year. The second we walked through the door and sat down, a man named Samuel K. asked is what we wanted to drink. This man was as bubbly, friendly and accommodating as I've ever experienced. He made us feel like we had been coming there for years. This was service with a smile, hyper style. It's been sometime since I've seen someone so happy, energetic, friendly and outgoing. Once we had our drinks, we ordered a cornbread starter and that cornbread was hot, fresh and was served with a mouth watering honey butter. From the time we ordered it to the time we were eating it couldn't have been a full five minutes. Then came the main courses. Of course, Samuel made some recommendations and he clearly knew the menus well. I opted for an impossible burger and fries. My friend opted for a bbq salmon and mashed potatoes. Ten minutes later, the main courses showed up and we started eating. Both melas were incredible but the salmon was a game changer. We eat salmon all one the country and the world and this dish was phenomenal. Right in there with the salmon from the best French restaurants in Paris. It's that good. Our dessert was a peanut butter cookie, baked warm and served with vanilla ice cream on it. Also, one of the better deserts I've had lately. Our experience at this restaurant was five star, first rate. The food was fantastic and the service was even better. Samual is a treasure that absolutely made our dining experience. I find servers of his caliber only a few times a year. He is just one of those people that knows how to make people feel important and special. He clearly enjoys his job and it shows. As a side note. The entire restaurant is clean, bright and laid out nicely. They have gender neutral bathrooms that other restaurants should seek to duplicate. Plenty of free and easily accessed parking. read more

Totally forgot to take pictures - but my daughter is a student at UNC and we have been coming up to visit for a couple years. Always like to try new places and this place is probably the best food we have had in Greely. From appetizers to dinner, dessert and drinks. After a visit to the Colorado Model Railroad Museum, we visited Austin's American Grill which is within a quick walk from the museum. First time visit to the grill and has a nice lunch experience with our party of 4. Plenty of street parking right in front of the restaurant and not crowded at all for a Saturday afternoon. Table service was efficient, and this continued throughout the meal, which was at a great pace, allowing us to have a friendly casual lunch. Started off with the Queso and chips appetizer, which sadly may have been the low point of the food, as the cheese queso has broken which resulted in a slightly lumpy texture to the queso. Lunch entrees all were served quickly, consisting of Bison burger, Chicken sandwich, French Dip, and a kid's corndog. Special mention on the French dip was the toasted roll, abundance of beef, and rich Au Jus for dipping, excellent! Topping off the meal was the kid's sundae that was provided to our surprise. Overall, this is a gem of a restaurant tucked away in Greeley, CO, and would suggest if you are in the area stop in for nice meal with good food and great friendly service. Came for the Bison steak. All it tasted like is salt. They use the same marinade for all. Prime rib sandwich was the same. Waiters complained the whole time about how busy they were and just were scrambling and complaining. Not really what you want to hear when expecting to enjoy your Saturday night after a long week on a date. That was a one and done for me. Do better. Not impressed. Went here for my birthday with my family. Let's just start out by saying the service was sloooow!!!! The gentleman that came up to give us water, tried to take our order because he could not find the "waiteess". He could not figure out how to put in an order for a salad as a side!!!! Then he told us the prime rib was sold out at 4:30 on a Friday night (one of the two night they offer it, or course he was wrong!). Ordered a steak medium rare and it came out medium. Sent it back and the second one came out more done the first one. They sent the manager over and he could have given two s$&ts about it. My second crappy steak came out 20 minutes after every else was done eating with nothing but a "here you go" from the waitress. My husband ordered an end cut of prime rib, medium and it came out, not and end cut but a thin slice of rare crap. The waitress could not have care less what so ever when I informed her about the wrong cut. Just walked away with an "ok". I will tell the kitchen"! All she cared about was how to get a tip from other customers. But wait it gets better. They "offered" me a free sunday for my birthday. Since we had been there for a couple of hours we went a head and ordered deserts to go and after about 20 minutes of waiting for them and most of my family needed to leave due to the delay of the SLOW service: they brought me a crappy Sunday with the to go orders of desserts for people who had left the freaking table, the waitress lit a candle and said " we can not forget your birthday". I was by myself at this point waiting for everyone else's deserts!!!!!! This was the WORSE birthday meal ever! Crappy service. Horrible management and even worse food. We went yesterday for our 20th anniversary. Ordered corn bread and artichoke dip as an ap. Corn bread was hard as a rock and the celery that came with the dip actually had a dead fly that looked like it had been soaking for quite some time on it. The waiter removed the one piece of celery from the plate.. and said that's gross. Didn't offer to remake the dish. I ordered the Brussels sprouts with no bacon and told him I don't eat pork. It arrived with bacon. I opted not to have it remade at that point. I ordered a whiskey/ blackberry drink that tasted like a glass of liquid smoke. Not sure what happened there. My husband ordered ribs and chicken. He said the ribs were dry and the chicken was just ok. I didn't want to send it back because I was pretty over it. When the waiter brought the bill over, he had removed the dip, sprouts an drink which all said customer don't like . I don't know many people who like bugs in their food. He did offer a piece of pie to go which was nice of him. Don't think we will be back any time soon and it's too bad because it's supposed to be one of Greeley's nicer restaurants. read more

Service was a little slow - they are busy on Friday/Saturday nights, so understandable. Food we got and reviews: Bison burger - very good, cooked perfectly. Beer cheese soup - excellent, comes with popcorn? Queso - not much flavor Side Caesar salad - has chopped up tomatoes so the tomato juice gives the salad a weird watery flavor. Would not get again. Fried stuffed avocados - very good - order comes with 2 large half avocados. Cornbread skillet - pretty good. A little dry, but good taste. The restaurant has a great ambiance. We really enjoyed hanging out there together. Happy hour has great appetizer and drink deals. We did have to ask for the happy hour menu even though we were seated during this time, so don't forget to ask (M-F 4-6pm). read more

I ordered the ribeye and it came out, medium rare like I like it but the butter they put on top never melt it so it leads me to believe the steak was sitting. I'm thrilled Austin's has a location in Greeley! Locally owned restaurant with quality to die for. The consistency between the two locations in Fort Collins is one of the reasons it has always been a go-to since moving to northern Colorado in 2010. The menu quality is reflected at the Greeley location as well, and some familiar staff seems to be here- always a good sign! After walking in and being ignored for aprox 3-5 min we were seated and told our waitress would be right there. We waited another 8-10 min while watching the staff just walk around before we gave up and left. On the way out, our waitress said thank you as we were leaving.
