This mural is located on a wall of a gift shop and is next to the corner that houses a Starbucks. We actually parked in the Starbucks lot to come here for a quick picture since it was so close by. It's about a 10 minute drive north of downtown Austin. I haven't seen as many pictures of people in front of this mural as I have with other ones but it's a very nice mural that stays true to its name. To be honest this mural looks way cooler than some of the other ones I visited and there's really so much going on in each letter of the word Texas. If you're doing a tour of the murals in Austin make sure to stop by this one.

I had a lot of fun driving around looking for these life size murals. Traffic wasn't too too bad.

Loved our visit to Austin, Texas. Had to visit a couple of these murals for our own little self made post card.

DAYLIGHT FUN: Tracking down ALL the cool murals in Austin is great fun for your guests & family. It will take a full day, so take a "mental health day" and explore the city. Send a lot of snaps to your Yankee friends. You won't regret it. EVENING FUN: at night, s-l-o-w-l-y drive your visitors down South Lamar to see the amazing neon signs our artists create: Austin neon artists blend gases, impurities, and electricity!!! NEXT, walk down South Lamar for more great neon and snack at the food trucks. Give your guests a Texas hug and say: "WELCOME to AUSTIN!!"

Stop #5 The Austin TX mural tour has been so much fun. My friends are enjoying getting to know…read moreAustin, TX better. The "I Love You So Much" mural is one of Austin's most photographed and widely recognized pieces of street art. It is located on the side of Jo's Coffee at 1300 South Congress Avenue in the city's South Congress neighborhood. The mural features a simple message, "I love you so much", painted in red cursive letters on a light green wall. The mural has become a symbol of love we have for each other, connection to each other as well as the connection to the city, and Austin's love for all. The mural was created in 2010 by Amy Cook, a local Austin musician. According to the word on the streets, Cook spray painted the message as a heartfelt expression of love for her partner, Liz Lambert, who is affiliated with Jo's Coffee. Now this sign serves a love note to all that visit Austin.

Simple, elegant, profound, and fun. I can't even begin to count how many times I have been to this mural in the last decade or so. This along with other murals on South Congress and in Austin is where I take visitors from other cities. Well, I take them to this one only if I Love Them So Much!
