I prefer not to have a series of strangers in private cars deliver my wines. Uber doesn't have trolleys and perhaps personel that can handle heavy cartons. I find the move to using a car delivery service unacceptable. Also, when to speak to the store agent who told me that I am going "on and on about it" , doesn't fare well with me. My grocery store delivers wines to me that are even cheaper and delivery cost is included. Otherwise I have absoutely adored Everything Wine did before, therefore, I am hoping they return to professional delivery companies. As to the person making such a comment to customers, "no, no, not nice".

Some staff in the South Surrey are indifferent to helping customers. And I generally don't like going to bars as I usually ended up going alone which feels kind of depressing in my experience. As a Liquor chain store, their prices are slightly lower then what you normally would find at a local independent Liquor store. Lastly, I like BC Liquor chain stores because they usually ask for ID, which would help prevent underage kids from buying liquor and whatnot.

The store itself is tucked away in the W corner, and isn't really visible from the main lot. This location is smaller than the others, so the selection isn't the best. When I got off the bus and so Granville I thought oh there used to be a government liquor store here surely the goodness serious at least a private one nearby. And so I found Jaks and it was a wonderful experience . Great selection, more like a baby LCB than a wine store or some of the other liquor Outlets just basically have a lineup of basically overly marked up pricing. I just drink something like polarize or silent Sam with low-cal cranberry juice on the Rocks but as a martini. I was able to purchase four bottles and the only markup was two bucks . Two bucks. After just paying almost $10 more for a 26 year Alberta vodka. And they actually wanted $44 for $28 bottle of Absolute Vodka. Upmarket gouging never sits well with me. So, while I still mostly by my vodka at a government store, when I want to just go out and have a lovely afternoon and bring home some wine and some vodka i zoom up from my little corner of Yale town by bus to the south Granville District and pick up my supplies .
