In my eyes, Austin has a famine of good bible-believing churches. It's been a while since I visited this church -- especially since I believe in following a Saturday sabbath and no longer celebrate pagan celebrations renamed as Christian (Christmas and Easter with their horrid origins) -- but to anyone church shopping in the Austin Area that is not bothered by those things I would definitely recommend giving this one a chance. I believe a lot of genuine believers are administrating this church.
One HUGE kudo for this church is that it is one of the few I have found that is truly integrated racially. (Mosaic, in NW Austin at 12675 Research Blvd., with a very large and friendly congregation, is also very good in this respect.)
IMPORTANT: Austin Revival Center has changed its name (twice) and moved (at least twice). As of December 2019, their new name is AUSTIN ALIVE CHURCH and their address is, at least for now, at the Frank Fickett Scout Center, 12500 I-35, Austin TX 78753.
P.S. There is currently (12/7/2019) no review for Austin Alive Church on Yelp. (There is one with that name in Manor, but I have no idea whether there is a connection.) I will not do the first review on it myself since I have not attended in so long, but here is their website: www.austinalivechurch.org -- God bless~! read more
