I called to get it fixed yet they did not have us scheduled for a filling or crown replacement it was for a check up so I wasted an HOUR for them to tell me they don't have time to do the filling today. Do not come here! I made the mistake of seeing both good and bad reviews so I wanted to make my own judgement. Our first visit was fine with the doctor. It was determined that my daughter needed special treatment on her teeth to slow down genetic cavities. Unfortunately, the office incorrectly billed my insurance despite my instructions to bill medical and then dental. They sent me the full bill so I called to inform them of the mistake. I was assured it would be taken care of but then they sent the bill to a collections agency before billing my insurance. Needless to say I was given the run around and terrible customer service for correcting a mistake that was never mine to begin with. For our second appointment we must have been given a doctor that was new and barely graduated school. She clearly didn't look at my daughter's chart before her appointment and couldn't tell us anything about the progression of the last treatment she received in the same office! We got no answers about the next steps to take or if any additional treatment is needed. We will not be going back. Save yourself the headache read more

Yesterday, I brought my daughter in for a silver cap on her tooth, and unfortunately, we had the worst experience ever with the dentist. While the office manager, front desk staff, and dental assistants were all incredibly kind and professional--honestly, they were the sweetest people--the dentist was the complete opposite. My daughter, who has autism, started crying when she received a shot. The dentist responded by getting right in her face and yelling, "LOOK IN MY EYES, LOOK AT ME, WHY ARE YOU CRYING? STOP CRYING." Then he stormed out of the room. When he came back, he told me that if she kept crying, he wouldn't work on her, saying he wouldn't "reward bad behavior," despite me explaining that my daughter has autism and asking for some understanding. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. No child should be treated that way, especially one with special needs. In my opinion, he should not be allowed to work with children. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The dentists here are running a scam. I brought my daughters in and with my oldest they recommended a silver cap and my other daughter 3 caps. I immediately went to another dentist as I looked at the X-rays and the cavities were extremely small for my one daughter supposedly needing 3. At another dentist, they laughed at the idea of capping my daughters tooth and were able to do 3 small fillings. My oldest daughter did not even have a cavity. Such a scam. Also they take forever. I highly recommend everyone looking to go here, go elsewhere or risk subjecting your little ones to unnecessary treatment and increased expenses. read more

We have been taking our daughter here for about a year and at first the level of service was good, but recently there have been new staff and new Doctors. The level of service from the front desk to the assistants and some Doctors is sub par. It's as if the staff does not enjoy their job. The quote for orthodontic service was nearly $500 more than another orthodontic office. Service on every level is important! read more

Recently tried to reschedule my sons six month appointment and was told I had a balance of over $180. Turns out it was from something back in Jul 2020. I have been to every six month appointment since 2020 and not once was this balance mentioned to me. Now I cant use FSA money to pay for it. I really liked the staff at this practice, but we moved after my kids last visit and are no longer within a reasonable driving distance to use this location. Since moving, my family has been continually harassed about scheduling future unnecessary appointments. I'm to the point that I have no intentions of using ANY of their locations in the future. The number of robo-calls, post cards, text messages, emails and personal phone calls we have received in the past year is enough to drive anyone crazy. My children are VERY young with no cavities. In fact, my pediatrician didn't even recommend scheduling an appointment until they're much older, but I made an appointment just to make sure we had no issues to worry about. I was even informed by the dentist that my kids are TOO YOUNG for a cleaning, have NO ISSUES with their teeth and the only reason to bring them in at such a young age is to get them accustomed to seeing the dentist. I'm sorry, but I have no intentions of spending half my day and half a tank of gas venturing to and from Leander to merely 'get my kids accustomed to visiting the dentist.' I've taken my kids here since 2012 and it's always been great. Until the last couple of appointments. I'm not sure what's going on, but there's always new doctors and completely new staff. This last trip the dr was wanting to put a crown on my daughter's molar. That was going to require working with her orthodontist on removing a bracket, etc. Dr. Peters (ortho) is amazing, btw. I wasn't thrilled about that, but whatever her father and I will review the estimate, etc. Due to current global issues they are no longer handing you the estimate before you leave, totally not a problem, they'll email it later. Y'all. I called twice later and never got it. They've had my email in the system since 2012, it's the same email I've had since like 1999. I even confirmed it while I was there and when I called back. I'll be taking her to a different dentist. This practice (and the other location on 183 in Austin) are all about squeezing you for as much money as possible now and less about patient care. read more

I have triplets daughters who are just now turning 3. I have been putting off the dental visit because I have a serious fear of dentist and dental procedures. Well this staff and dentist put my fear to rest. My daughter fell and hurt her tooth and gum. They got me in the same day I called and the dentist reassure me she was going to be fine. My other two daughters will be seen at this office soon. We have finally found my children's dental office. I don't mind the 30 minute drive because it's so worth it. read more

The office seems clean enough and the staff is very nice, but I'm unhappy and disturbed by the fact that the dentist was pushing general anesthesia for my 4 year old. She didn't see any cavities in her mouth, but there were some visible only on the X-ray. My daughters teeth will start falling out in a year or two, she is in zero pain, and general anesthesia is expensive and RISKY. We were really pleased with our visit today. The kids were entertained in the waiting room and they were able to clean teeth, do X-rays and exams at the same time for both kids. We were in and out in 45 minutes! The dental assistants were super sweet and I could rave forever about the dentist herself. Came to this location for the first time the other day and the staff is incredibly friendly. The front desk were very helpful and welcoming. And I absolutely loved the dental assistant, Eric, and the hygienist, Dora. Eric was extremely patient with my 5 year old daughter who can be very stubborn. He took everything in stride and with a smile. Completely awesome. Dora was very soothing for both my kids and it was the first dental appointment where my kids didn't get upset or I didn't have to argue with the doctors for having staff who couldn't handle children. Everyone here was so friendly and helpful. I Took my boys in today for their 6 month check up and saw Dr. Montero. She was so amazing with my boys. She's so sweet and tells them everything she's going to do so they aren't scared or trying to see what's gonna happen next. She even had him help her count his teeth. How disappointing. My granddaughter had an appt for a filing at 9am. We arrived at 8:45 and were taken back at 9:15. We waited another 30 mins and the assistant said the dentist wanted another X-ray of the tooth before she started working on it. Frustrating to have waited 45 mins before they needed another X-ray. Assistant took the X-ray and finally the dentist came in. Dr. Basora. I told her I was upset about making a 5 year old wait for an hour and she told me she didn't appreciate me talking to her that way. Seriously? I had already asked the assistant if the dentist was with another patient and she confirmed "no". The assistant apologized for the long wait. But...why were we waiting? For a 5 year old to get scared or for her aniexty to increase? How unprofessional of Dr Basora to get upset with someone asking a question. Furthermore, she was so unprofessional that she refused to treat my granddaughter after we waited for ONE HOUR. Seriously...one question about the long wait made this dentist act like a 3 year old! read more

Not sure if this dentist had really ever seen a scared child ever before. He called my son "defiant" because he was scared to lay flat (he was not yelling or hitting or anything like that). The dentist never came around and looked my son in the eye- not even to introduce himself. The dentist sat behind him the whole time. I had already written on his paperwork that he was irrationally scared of the dentist (irrational because he's never had a bad experience with a dentist to date). Further, once my son did comply- the dentist mentioned that he had "acted like a 4 year old". Why not say something like "good job for getting it together and being brave"? I'm sure a child not laying down is frustrating when you are in a hurry, but I was just surprised that they assistant and dentist both seemed so bothered by a scared child at the pedi dentist office. We are going to try another pedi dentist that hopefully has more experience with, well kids. read more

Clean facility. Friendly and helpful staff. Felt like the recommended treatment plan was a bit aggressive, but after talking it through some arrived at what I felt like was a good plan. I just had to ask a lot of questions to get the info I needed to understand the treatment options. read more

My first experience with doctor katya was great! She is so friendly, a little hard to understand but she cares so much about her patients and it really showed. Fast forward that to my experience today, I came in expecting some work on my daughters cavity. Dr Katya as always was so friendly, her 2 assistants were so horrid! They didn't have the room set up the way she wanted so she proceeded to tell them how it needs to be for her to be comfortable at her work station! These 2 young woman treated her SO nasty! By making faces, making faces towards each other, eye rolls, they made me feel not confident in my own dentist. They treated her like she was stupid! Anytime she turned her back they were mocking her and so condescending! At one point dr ketya walked out of the room while trying to re arrange the room so everything would be set up correctly and one of the assistants said "Jesus Christ"! I guess they thought because I was young that their behavior would be acceptable. One of the assistant didn't even know how to pick the caps the doctor may use, she asked the other assistant "how are we even suppose to know what she is going to use" with a bad expression on her face. I felt so uncomfortable!!!!! This was my child's care we are talking about and the way they made me feel was just purely disgusting!!!!!!! My daughter was having issues and feeling uncomfortable and doc ketya took her time and made the assistant that was helping her and was actually by her side slow down as well, and of course the grouch face and eye rolls came back. This is unacceptable and I truly felt bad for our dentist!!! I will NOT be coming back here solely because of this and will be letting everyone know!! I hope dr ketya gets treated better, she took the time to make her work station proper and took the time for my child to feel comfortable and was treated nasty for it!! I'm not saying they were bad towards me and my kid, they were nice, the one that kept coming and and checking wasn't really thrilled about anything and looked as if she hated all kids. The one by our doctors side was very sweet to my child, but still both of them made the whole experience terrible! What a shame! read more

If I could give this place no stars, I would. We waited for over an hour and decided to leave. We had an 8am appointment for a promotional free exam. I guess because it was "free" they decided we weren't important enough to attend to. When we first walked in, the girl upfront said "oh you guys don't have insurance right?" with this sarcastic condescending voice. Since when does not having dental insurance give employees a pass to patronize patients? While waiting in a room for the dentist, numerous employees kept walking by and saying "any minute now, sorry for the wait." We even overheard someone in the hallway say "oh, well they're only here for the free promotional". Excuse me???? As if someone else had mentioned our wait time and her response implied "they don't really matter anyway". Why even advertise free exams and/or promotions if you're just going to treat your potential future patients like crap? We will definitely be looking elsewhere. read more
