This is the worst drone service I have ever interacted with…read more Omid is the most immature person I have ever spoken to. I searched for drone services in Austin and Mavrik Pictures shows up. I give the number on the website a call and Omid who sounded like he woke up from a nap picks up. I ask him about his drone services and he asks when I would like to shoot. We schedule it a few days ahead. He says there will be a $200 deposit and he would send me the invoice in a day or two. Two days later, he sends the invoice which I gladly paid first thing in the morning the day before the shoot. My flight from a speaking engagement got delayed by a day and I was at the airport trying to get to Austin as soon as I could to make this shoot. I texted him 3am in the morning. I finally get in town and tried to call him again around 7am then tried at 8am. He picks up, and says he just saw my text. I told him I could power through it but I was exhausted and would like to reschedule. He explodes over the phone, calling me selfish several times, and yelling and interrupting me, telling me he had to drive his team from Dallas (just a reminder that his business and location of business shows Austin), and how he's made "such a big sacrifice" by not asking for 50% of the deposit and using good drones. I got really frustrated and told him that's not how anyone speaks to me, and if we want to reschedule and work together, then we have to speak with each other with respect. He was constantly interrupting me because he knew he misinterpreted the situation and he was in the wrong for not communicating that his team is actually based in DALLAS. Then threatened me to pay the entire fee even if I cancel (even though I didn't ask for cancellation but a reschedule) saying "My team will go to the location and you better be there and if you don't show up I'll see!" Word of advise don't use this service.

We at the Global Sisterhood organization have worked with ARISE multiple times, and we're grateful…read morefor their excellent efforts to make us look (and sound) good. Our audience really appreciates the high-quality videos and photos created by ARISE-their camera work is brilliant and beautiful. Some of our noteworthy collaborations include: (1) viral videos, two of which have over 1 million views on Facebook; (2) documentary-style filmmaking for social causes; and (3) video eye candy designed to generate great first impressions. These are thoroughly impressive Austin videographers and video editors. To me, the area that sets ARISE apart from other Austin videographers is their presence. Presence is a gift, you know, and we greatly appreciate the gift of working with ARISE.
