Cheap haircut, friendly barber!
This is a tiny little shop with only three chairs, and just one was in use when I got there. It feels like a throwback to 20 years ago with loads of family photos, biblical quotes, and odd curiosities hung all around the barbers' stations.
They don't make any attempt to turn it into something fancy and modern. There are no extra shampoo "product" pitches at the end, no children's play area, giant classic barber chairs, and intimidating clippers that look like they could weigh 20lbs. It's a solid place for a man to get a men's haircut and take a break from everything fast-paced and new.
As a nice perk: The prices are pretty old fashioned too. It was only $11 for a good haircut! It's a bit more if you want some beard trim and shaping, and those were the only two prices listed. That probably means they don't have many other services, so you probably want to go somewhere else if you need a perm. :) read more
