Had to take back some clothes that looked disappointing at home. They would only refund on a gift card. Serfina still have my money. Months later they refuse to refund it even though I can't find anything else I'm interested in buying. These signs are illegal and it's illegal for Serafina to insist on not refunding to the original payment source.

I went in there needing a ring re-sized pronto, after being told it would be a two week wait my face must of dropped and they did it for me over night! I felt comfortable as soon as I entered. This isn't a big glossy store with salespeople out the front and workman hidden out the back. It's a small space with three staff working behind a glass petition and a few pieces on sale in the display cabinets. I had a number of pieces but ended up only getting two pieces repaired this time - I had a battery replaced and links taken out of my grandma's Rado watch and a fine gold bracelet soldered. $35 all up and I got a text a week later saying they were ready for collection. They talked me through why some pieces weren't worth repairing unless they had sentimental value (labour far repair far exceeded value of piece). I'm holding onto those until I have extra funds. The address says 68 Grenfell Street but its easier to find if you enter Da Costa Arcade on the east side of Gawler Place.

Having said that however, the jewellery here is fairly nice and kept simple, with sterling silver displays being the stores trade mark. I have bought some nice gifts from here in the past, and they have been all reasonably priced. They also gift wrap. Best for simple rings, necklaces and bracelets. Put simply, sterling silver and white gold jewellery pieces of all sorts!
