It seems he was SO afraid of me he said he would never want to see me again! Question is, who do I lodge a formal complaint to about this Dr. For humiliation, accusing and lying this man did, or do I just got look for a lawyer?

What he experienced was not treatment -- it was a prison-like environment. He told me the majority of the people there appeared to be right out of prison or under DOC (Department of Corrections) supervision. The facility is heavily funded by DOC and the whole atmosphere felt exactly like a corrections facility, not a medical detox or rehab. During intake there were four of them. Staff conducted strip searches with the door wide open. Other residents and people were walking by and could clearly look in and see everything. One of the guys who was on DOC started arguing loudly with staff about being strip searched and said he was going to walk out. James and another person looked at each other, grabbed their things, and left. He is currently on a bus home with two other people who witnessed the same thing and also refused to stay. James needed a safe place to detox from drugs. He did not need to be treated like he had just finished a prison sentence. The open-door strip search in front of other people and the overall prison vibe made it impossible for him to stay. If you or someone you love is looking for actual medical detox and treatment in a therapeutic setting, this is not it. I would not recommend this facility for anyone seeking voluntary treatment.

She was placed toward the back of the building, and the smell in that area was overwhelming to the point of making me sick. When I walked into her room, the floor was sticky as if urine had been spilled and not cleaned properly. I asked the housekeeper if she could mop the floor again, and she told me "No -- period." On my next visit, the floor was still sticky, and staff claimed it was due to the cleaning solution they were using. This is unacceptable. The conditions have deteriorated drastically, and the facility is no longer providing the level of care it once did.

My family has…read moreused the expertise of these therapists for a rehab of a spinal surgery and two shoulder surgery rehabs. The therapists are so willing to help and work you through the post operation pain as well as transitioning back to full function. Julianne Alford is amazing. She is a wealth of knowledge eager to share with her patients. She helps the patient understand why she is doing the treatment they way she is as well as giving them practical tips for home care. She truly is wonderful. Most of the therapy my family has had is in the pool. If you are scared of water don't be with these people. They are careful and considerate with all ages, pain levels, water fears, and the overall well being of their patients.
