Very friendly, good care if you're just having routine dental work. But if you're getting a complete implants bridge I recommend you go to a dental specialist. Dental specialists has the knowledge of your health ,prescriptions you take plus other factors . read more

I moved to this area 15 years ago. One of the first things I did was to find a good dentist. I found Aurora Dental Associates and I've been with them ever since. The office and waiting room are always light, airy and immaculate. Never have I had a wait time more than 5 minutes. The hygienists are always bright and cheery and very thorough. Dr. Caputo is absolutely outstanding. The associates who have worked there were equally exceptional, reflecting his high standards. The staff at the desk are all friendly and professional. I have recommended Aurora Dental Associates in the past and will continue doing so without hesitation. read more

Very nice and personable office. So why only 1 star? My extended family went to them a couple years. Then they started marketing, growing, and adding dentists, so we no longer knew which dentist we'd get and it wasn't always the main dentist (Dr. Caputo) that we built a rapport with. They also added and moved around hygienists. That was strike 1. Then, one of the hygienists chipped off part of my family members front tooth by hitting it hard with the handle of the polisher. They were very apologetic and filed the tooth down, but charged them, and it was noticeably different. That was strike 2. Then my husband had a root canal with Dr. Caputo that gave him bad pain that never went away. He had to go back and was prescribed meds for an infection. When that didn't clear it up, a referral to a periodontist was made. The periodontist discovered the issue, Dr. Caputo broke off a drill bit while performing a root canal, left it in there and didn't say anything, which then became infected and caused an abscess. Over a month had gone by at this point and the only way to fix it was by removing the tooth. There was lots of pain, suffering, and we had to pay a lot more by a few thousand dollars. If he would have said something and addressed it then instead of replacing the drill bit and continuing the root canal, then my husband wouldn't have had to go through the unnecessary pain and suffering. Strike 3. We never went back and I don't recommend. read more

I have been a patient for about five years. I have seen four different dentists and have been pleased with all. The whole staff functions as a well coordinated , patient focused team. Even the office layout is thoughtfully constructed to allay the fears of dental phobics. I especially appreciate the dental insurance plan they offer and the up front details about pricing which they provide. read more

This is a nice dentist office, and I have usually had pretty good experience with them on past visits. (Patient of 4+ years with Aurora Dental) But in my most recent visit, I was left sitting in their chair for 15 minutes waiting for a dentist exam that never happened. No communication, no update, nothing. I was just left sitting around for 15 minutes after a cleaning. Almost like I wasn't even there, or had been forgotten. I can understand if their scheduling got out of hand, and they were running behind... But leaving me in limbo with no updates is not what I consider strong customer/patient service. There are lots of options for dentists, consider exploring a different one... Just not a great experience, and their reaction to it leaves a bit to be desired. I don't see much commitment to continuous improvement and correcting breakdowns. read more

My first appointment at the office was set for 6.10pm so I went in at 5.55pm to ensure I was not late. They did not call me in until 6.25pm so not a great start. I dismissed it as the office having a busy night. They handed me a 'welcome' goodie bag with a mug, tea bag, honey packet, and some marketing materials of the practice and their services which was a nice gesture! The staff was friendly and after a few minutes of us talking about them needing my last X-rays from the previous dentist office, they brought in the dentist. He was polite and was with us for about 2 minutes in which I was told that they need to get my X-rays before being able to evaluate and determine what work I need to get done next. There was no evaluation done whatsoever at this appointment- simply meet and greet. I walked out and was told the office will call me as soon as they have the X-rays to discuss next appointment arrangements. Fast forward 6 days later I get an explanation of my bill from the Dental Insurance provider - I was charged $88 for a meet and greet! I was surprised and called the office the following day to inquire about these charges. The staff member on the phone could not give me a reasonable explanation for this bill because there is none. I will not be returning or moving the rest of my family over to this practice as originally planned. Very disappointed with that experience as I was looking forward to staying long-term with this practice along with my family. read more

I agree with the other reviewer about bringing in other dentists and then moving hygienists around. I always saw new faces. At one of my appointments I even got a rude agency hygienist. This dentist is all about the money and not about the customer. I would never recommend this office. Give me, give me is all this office knows. I know someone that left because of the atmosphere and not being customer oriented. I too had an abscess that occurred a week after the appointment. So glad to be gone from this office. read more

I have been going to Aurora Dental my whole life and am so happy that I just got my insurance back and am able to become a regular again!!! I came into the visit very hesitant after a horrible experience with aspen dental and am leaving extremely happy and with a new toothbrush that I can't wait to try!! The entire staff was extremely friendly from check in on and Dr. Garcia was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in understanding what was going on and what to expect! I really enjoyed talking with Jackie and Marilyn while scheduling my visit! I will definitely be a patient here for life!!! read more

Horrible horrible horrible!. These "dentist" bonded my wife's front teeth. The subsequent week, the bonding literally cracked in half ( yes in half). Then they kept hounding me for payment. I called and didn't feel I should have to pay, then got threatened to be sent to collections. Went down the street and had a real dentist fix the problem and the tooth has been wonderful ever since. This was our 4 year old son's first trip to the dentist. Sarah at the desk was so nice and personable and made us feel welcome and comfortable right away. Our technician was SO GOOD with our son and explained and showed everything to him to make him feel at ease. My husband and I are patients at Aurora Dental Care and have always had good experiences and so we knew our son would, too, but it being his first time, the experience exceeded our expectations! After waiting months for appointments for my four children, we were coldly treated for being late to the appointment. I had thought the text said our appointment was at 12:20, but regardless of whose fault it was, we were told that we would not be seen. Two of our appointments we were on time for, but they had cancelled them all when we did not show up for the first. The rudeness did not stop here. We were then told that we would not be allowed to reschedule because we were late and had state insurance. The woman was belittling and there was no grace shown; do not waste your time here! read more

Every question I asked was answered thoroughly and I am aware of options regarding my dental goals and needs. The office atmosphere was fun and laid back.
