Especially on something easy like this. They want $200+ (crazy) 'testing fee' and the $300+ for parts and labor (standard). David couldn't help me on this but at least he informed me of my maintenance recommendations due 14k miles ago which are up to date. All this to say, the repair is scheduled elsewhere. I am happy to pay for the repair. I just don't have the confidence these guys will give me a fair(subjective it's a dealership, I know) price or not lead with a sale. Hope this helps someone.

I never signed a contract or sales receipt. I told them I had to try and find reasonable shipping to San Diego. A week later Jim sends me a contract trying to get me to sign that the deposit is non-refundable and he asks me to complete the sale that week or he is keeping my deposit. I disputed the charge with Amex and I am still battling with this joker because he just keeps lying to Amex. He told Amex that all 3 of his locations have signs that say all sales are non-refundable so therefore, I knew about it. I have never been to one of his locations or even been to Portland. I called him from San Diego off a Craigslist ad for a trailer for sale. The ad doesn't say anything about non refundable. Bottom line... Heads up, this guy is a crook and will steal your money or bait and switch you. Look up this merchants reviews on Yelp ( I think there are 3 different listings) and on Google. You will see how many people he has screwed over. He has crooked business tactics. Beware buying anything thing from this merchant. You will be disappointed.

In the meantime, we were given a rental car by them. They don't have many rental cars, so we had been waiting for it. We got a voicemail on Friday night that the car was returned and we picked up this car on Saturday. The service department is closed for nights and weekends. Chuck Colvin got us this rental car less than 24 hours from the previous renter. At first we were thrilled, but now we are receiving a bill from them claiming all this damage that we did not do. We only used this car to drive to work and back, as we are used to electric cars and hate paying for gas. We've never had to use a rental car before, and of course are realizing now we should have taken pictures. Now this company is trying to make us pay for damages that the previous renter must have acrued while they try to cover up that they didn't do a proper inspection. They tried to send us a rental agreement with just "none" written under damages out (when we picked up the car) and then attached pictures of the damage we did. No photos of what the car looked like before we picked it up, because there wasn't proper insection/protocals/pictures taken. We should not pay for their mistakes. Do not buy from them or rent a car from them. They are shady, to say the least.

Since we reside in our RV, taking it into the dealership for repairs was impractical and expensive. I notified the dealership and they provided me with contact info for Accurate Mobile RV Repair. I left a voicemail for them and Karen called me back the same day. Since the repairs would be covered under warranty, Karen advised me of the process that is required by the manufacturer to get the work completed. I sent her a list of 14 items needing repair; everything from a cracked shower, appliance issues to missing exterior rivets. Karen is very competent and knowledgeable about the warranty process and pitfalls I might face. She was able to advise me what the manufacturer would require me to pay and what would most likely be covered. She also does all the scheduling and had a couple of great troubleshooting steps. Sounds like he has had a ton of experience around inflatables. This last month they squeezed me in the schedule to replace a bad fuel line, even though they were busy, so that I could get back out on the water for a planned trip. I came to Newberg CDJR (across the street) specifically because of an AutoTrader listing for a 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5 Limited AWD with approximately 10,000 miles, VIN ending in 2095. When I arrived, the salesperson (Mike Jeffers) asked me if I knew the VIN of the vehicle I was there to see. I thought that was an odd question at the time... especially because I was subsequently told that they only had one IONIQ 5. We went across the street to Newberg Chevrolet to check out the vehicle. We test drove the only IONIQ 5 they had, and then spent time negotiating a purchase. I was ultimately given an offer with a selling price and trade-in value to consider After leaving the dealership, I discovered that the vehicle I had actually test driven and negotiated for was not the vehicle I thought I was buying The advertised vehicle was: VIN ending 2095 2024 IONIQ 5 Limited ----AWD---- Approximately ---10,500-- miles The vehicle I was actually shown and given pricing for was: VIN ending 0428 2024 IONIQ 5 Limited ---RWD--- Approximately ---25,800-- miles They only had one Ioniq 5 in either lot. So the vehicle I was shown had more than twice the mileage and was RWD instead of the advertised AWD vehicle. The advertised car and the test drive car were not the same.... And they only had ONE Ioniq 5 on the lot. ...At no point during the test drive or negotiations was it made clear to me that I was being shown a different vehicle from the one they had advertised. Had I bought it I would have thought I was buying an AWD and actually getting a RWD. What makes the experience even MORE concerning to me is that as I was considering my options I went back to the website to check the Carfax only to find the listing for the 10,000-mile AWD vehicle, as well as the dealership's own online listing for it had disappeared... in effect removing the VIN discrepancy footprint from the web Whether this was intentional or the result of extraordinarily poor inventory management, I can't know. ...But as a customer, the result was the same: I came in to look at an advertised 10,000-mile AWD vehicle and was instead test-driving and negotiating the purchase of a 25,000-mile RWD vehicle without being told they were different cars, which is the definition of BAIT AMD SWITCH. That experience destroyed my confidence in the dealership, and I walked away - which is too bad because I was previously very comfortable doing business with them, having purchased vehicles from them in the past. While I don't blame Mike explicitly he is certainly complicit with his sales manage Russell in all of this. I will not be back and would advise you to go elsewhere. This place is suspect.
