The owner didn't grow up dancing but just loves it and learned in her adult age, so the studio is for anyone who simply enjoys having a good time. I come from an intense ballet background, so this was really refreshing. It's adults-only and the classes are held in another dance studio. The classes are filled with adults who haven't danced in ten years or are beginners (they offer both beginner and advanced options). I've sent their classes to a few of my former dance friends who are nervous to get into dance again but this is not a place you have to be intimated! The teachers are nice, the routines are fun, and everyone is very welcoming and accepting. They also offer really fun pop-ups like a musical theater pop-up to one of the Wicked songs (the choreo from the movie!), a Nutcracker ballet pop-up, and more. I just requested a High School Musical one because how fun would that be?! So far I've only done jazz funk but I can't wait to do more.

It's clear from the caliber of the studio and the high quality of classes, that all the instructors and co-owners take pride in what they do and conduct the studio with professionalism. Ashley and Suzann are true professionals, both with incredibly impressive dance backgrounds and education. Their love of ballet and care for their students shines through every aspect of CIAoD. The 305 class was great as it included cardio and a little bit of planking/abs. I have heard some of the other classes are not necessarily a great workout since you spend most of the time learning choreo, but this class was basically Zumba. The instructor, Jill, was very high energy and welcoming--give that lady a raise! The facilities felt a little outdated, but I think it's a great value if you are a regular member for the $125/month for unlimited classes.

I like this dance studio. My daughter takes dance lessons here and loves the classes, the studio,…read morethe dances, and the instructors. My daughter is on her second year here. It has built her confidence by giving her accomplishments that she can show us. They have found her strengths and let her be strong with them. They have found her weaknesses and made them better and taught her not to be afraid of them. This last weekend (early November), there was a two hour free dance night in exchange for a good drive. My son went to the free night with my daughter. He didn't really want to go, but when we showed up to watch what he learned, my son was excited and had a great time. When he left, he was hugging the instructors and telling them thank you. I can say that it can seem hectic when it is time to drop off and pick up. It is a busy place with a small-medium waiting area. But, I will also say that once you come here, you'll learn the rhythm and realize that there is an order to it all. We luckily had found Infinity which is right in Plainfield and close to our house. You'll find a great location and they have just redecorated the entire interior of the studio. There are several separate dance spaces for the different practices. The staff and manager seemed quite nice. They do offer both competitive dance and regular classes. If you are new to dance they can asses your child and let you know what would be a good starting point. Even after several years they still will want to watch your child to see where they stand. Thus far I have enjoyed the straightforward communication and expectations for the forthcoming year. My daughter is enjoying it and it must be thorough as she is a bit tired but she is doing 3 hours a day for 3 days a week. I look forward to seeing the new dances they plan and the competition season.

And I LOVE that I have early morning access without having to worry about whether or not someone shows up to unlock the doors. I design my own workouts but I have observed the personal training offered to others. It is well designed and well-tailored to each client. I'm very happy here.
