My husband and I were in Park City for our honeymoon. It rained a couple of days while we were there, so we thought that would be a perfect time for a couple's massage. Aura's prices were the only reasonable prices we could find in the area. The others seemed to be charging outrageous prices to take advantage of the tourists. They were also able to schedule us in the day of. The receptionist was super nice both on the phone when scheduling and at the appointment. Both massage therapists were great as well. I think the location is another reason this is a five star place. It's in the heart of Park City's Main Street area, so we were able to walk around and visit shops afterwards. Aura Spa is SOLID! Every time I have visited, I am overwhelmingly impressed. I usually go to Aura for facials. Although all of the estheticians rock, I have had numerous amazing facials with fantastic results from Wesley. The products used at Aura are all organic and smell natural. But the results are still great. From being greeted and offered a drink and slippers when you arrive, to the great music that isn't too new agey, to the cute location on Main Street, I think Aura Spa is probably my favorite spa in Park City. read more

My wife & I booked a couples massage after a full day of boarding on the mountain. The staff was all female from what I could see and they were all very friendly. When we arrived, we were greeted and offered water. They promptly escorted us to our room where we commenced to preparing for what turned out to be an excellent 90 minute massage. We got a deep tissue couples massage from Aura Spa which was amazing. It's conveniently right on main street but surprisingly and incredibly quiet once you're inside for how busy Old Town can be. The girls at the front were really nice and our therapists were both very attentive and informative during the session. I've gotten a mani here before as well really enjoyed it and love that they use SpaRitutal polish. I scheduled a facial with Annie on a recent visit to Park City. Going in, I was hoping for a relaxing, effective facial. What I received was even better! Annie's technique was fabulous and her knowledge of skin care was amazing. She went above and beyond to suit my individual skin care needs. The massage was just the perfect pressure and focused in all the right areas....I'm leary of massages out of town or at resorts but Erica knocked it out the park! Let me start by saying that I am a massage therapist and rarely get massages while traveling but I was in dire need. After researching my options in Park City on Yelp, I picked Aura Spa. I requested deep tissue when I booked the appointment knowing that I'd be lucky if i actually got someone that REALLY knew how to do deep tissue as opposed to pushing hard with no intention. Well, I got lucky! I had some pretty specific things going on as well as just being really jacked up from work. My therapist, Erica, was amazing. She addressed everything I mentioned during intake and did it with the expertise of someone with a lot of training and experience. By far one of the best massages I have had anywhere. I had a wonderful spa experience here. I enjoyed a 90-minute massage including reflexology and a fabulous 60-minute facial. The facial was wonderful. There were two or three mask treatments- a shoulder, neck, hand and arm massage, and an exfoliating treatment. Great products such as serums, toners, and moisturizers were used. I would definitely recommend this place. The staff is kind and responsive to their customers comfort and needs. Were quoted one rate and charged another (more) ... when asked to explain upon checkout, their response was that the girl on the phone making booking was new and they would make sure she knows the pricing in future. I travel often and have enjoyed facials in many different countries and other spas in Utah. The facial was most underwhelming - charged full price for an Elements facial for what I consider half a facial. I have now checked on what is advertised Aura Elements Facial: "Like an element, this facial is in its most simple form. After two steamed cleanses, your skin will be exfoliated and extracted upon request. Next up is a toning and relaxing facial massage, followed by a masque. While the masque sets, enjoy a neck, shoulder, hand and scalp massage. An appropriate toner, moisturizer and/or SPF will be applied last to your skin. Finally, as in every facial, you will receive a relaxing and grounding foot massage. The Elements Facial is everything a facial should be!" I received one steam clean, NO facial massage, NO neck, shoulder or scalp massage, NO 'grounding' foot massage. Absolutely NOT recommended. read more

Had a great experience at Aura Spa & Boutique over the holidays in Park City. I had called about two weeks prior and was able to make an appointment right away for a facial. The spa is located on Main Street on the corner directly across from the Java Cow cafe. You have to walk up a staircase of stairs and when you reach the top you know your transformation begins. The aromatic smells were so wonderful at the first sniff. Cute place, small but cute. The entire staff was very friendly and not pushy at all. Perfect spot for a solid massage and facial! After a 6 hour drive and waiting for my friend to get off work, I decided I needed both. I wouldn't call it a true "spa" as there were no showers or relaxation room, but they absolutely give top notch service! My yearly trip to Aura Spa is always the highlight of my family's annual vacation in Park City (yes, I enjoy it more than the skiing). The deep tissue massages I have had at Aura are by far the best I have I ever experienced. On my most recent trip to Park City, I called the day I wanted a massage (I am not much of a pre-planner), and Aura squeezed me in with a 45 minute deep tissue massage with Matthew. This 45 minute deep tissue massage at Aura was above and beyond my last massage, a 1.5 hr exorbitantly priced, mediocre massage at a Red Door Spa. My stiff and sore body was completely rejuvenated. And the price was right -- much more reasonable than a typical resort spa. Do yourself a favor -- skip the fancy spas and opt for reasonably priced massage at Aura. read more

I had hurt my lower back a few weeks back painting a room of all things. It just wouldn't go away and flying to Park City on three flights from France, lifting my carryon baggage into overhead bins and security conveyors greatly aggravated it until it was disrupting my sleep during my stay in Park City. Unwilling to pay the price at the St. Regis spa, I read the Yelp reviews and walked into Aura. They booked me for a 30 minute sports massage to focus on that issue. I returned in 90 minutes and met Beth, who did an excellent job identifying exactly where the issue was in both the lower back and glutes. I couldn't be sure. One massage won't solve this problem, but it certainly seemed to help. Beth was impressive in how she found that and other sore spots. And the white noise machine and music in the massage room masked any outside noise in the small spa. I recommend Aura, and Beth if your looking for no nonsense professional massage therapy. read more
