Aura in Trim is pretty decent for a public leisure centre in that it has lots of facilities including a pool, gym, fitness studio, bowling and a sauna/ steam room. They also offer a few programs such as diet and weight management, fitness classes, swimming lessons etc., and if you become a member, you can get your own training program. The fitness studio is not too big but they have a good number of cardio machines and weights. The price for walk-in is cheaper the earlier you go (around 5 euro before 5pm, but increases to 8.50 euro in the evenings). The pool is also timetabled specifically for free swim so I think you would have to confirm the timings as theres lessons on pretty often.
I went a few times around 5pm and 6pm, and I noticed that around 4-5pm is pretty busy with a lot of teenagers, while after 6pm is less busy and mostly adults in the gym. The lockers cost 1 euro by the way, and they sell swim gear and energy bars and drinks. The only thing was that it's not the cleanest gym and not being able to free swim at any time is quite inconvenient, but other than that it serves it's purpose as a fitness centre well, is great for kids as well as adults, and is quite inexpensive compared to private gyms with no contract needed. read more
