Pat offers great rates, great coaching, and above all else, he is as hands on and contactable as can be. To be honest, Pat's plans are revolutionary, some of my friends have lost a lot of weight in a short space of time under his guidance - for example, a good friend of mine lost 16 lbs in his first 9 days of training and eating right under Pat's guidance. To put it in perspective, world renowned UFC fighter Georges Saint Pierre offers a world wide 8 week plan that would not get you as good results as Pat can get you in 21 days alone. Furthermore, I recently read that a local Galway personal trainer can help you lose a dress size in 40 days, whereas Pat can help you lose a dress size in 9 days, and gain you untold results in 21-42 days. Additionally, the packages on offer are also safe and they are not overly strenuous; you will actually feel more proactive than ever as the nutrition includes foods from the most natural of sources, and the training consists of sustainable workouts that can easily be integrated into your daily life. The nutrition will leave you feeling healthier and more energetic than ever, while his workouts will leave you feeling fitter and more exercised than ever, as he provides a total body workout. Pat offered me a range of different options before eventually tailoring a plan that would ultimately benefit me; Pat consulted me in a relaxed manner, by offering up a lot of his time to answer all of my questions, and as a result he was able to pin point what exactly needed to be done - and evidently from my results, it worked. Since the beginning of working with Pat Divilly Fitness, I have tried other services that he has to offer such as a TRX, kettle bells and battling ropes class, which is a great all over body weight workout and a great alternative form of cardio work out also. Pat also runs various boot camp classes in addition to personal training, semi-private training, and corporate plans for different companies. From speaking with other clients, I have heard nothing but positive feedback about the work he has been doing, and the results people have been getting as a result of the knowledge and discipline he has passed onto people, and the guidance he has given them. Furthermore, Pat offers online training to clients, which he promotes via www.patdivillyfitness.com, his Facebook page, and his Twitter page, in which Pat can email the plans to the client and keep them motivated through regular contact, which is convenient for many people who live hectic lifestyles. Also, through his social networking pages, Pat provides offers of goodwill from time to time, including cookbooks, motivational videos, workout videos, nutritional information, blog posts on topical issues, and also competitions to win the likes of personal training sessions and supplements.     I came here just once during my two week stay at Mullingar as they do not take drop-in's, but…read moreoffered me a free one day pass. This gym is pretty basic with just cardio and weight machines, but the quality of the equipment is very poor. A few of the cardio machines were out of order, and the equipment is also extremely old. In terms of weights, there is a good variety available and a TRX studio upstairs, but the women's spot training area is very small. Another thing that irked me was the lack of a water fountain to refill water, and also some sets of weights were missing. The changing rooms are small with only two showers and a toilet. There are lockers which you have to bring your own key, although you could borrow one but they tend to run out fast. You also need your own towel. I went at around 4pm so it was not crowded, but as it got closer to 5pm things got a bit more busy. Another thing I noticed is that there are a lot of teenagers/ secondary school aged people here, which is something I usually don't see in my gym back in Dublin. I would call this one of those "protein gyms", i.e. most people here are serious about fitness and muscle building. The membership is very cheap and they also have monthly memberships for €40. The staff were friendly and helpful, which was a plus. There is also a variety of fitness classes which are free for members and €7 for non-members. Overall: Very basic, not the best quality in terms of equipment but cheap rates.
