Unlike many similar studios around the area, Luvvli provides thoughtful and rare offerings, all at prices that feel surprisingly reasonable compared to many individual practitioners who often charge significantly more for similar services. While some might assume a studio like this would be exclusive or out of reach, I can confidently say that Luvvli is anything but pretentious or close-minded. Instead, it feels like a space that's open to any kind of person; a place where you can explore, unwind, and reconnect. Most recently, I attended their face yoga class, and it was such a refreshing experience. From the moment I walked in, Jenny made me feel so welcome and at ease. The class began with gentle stretches; slow, restorative movements, untangling little knots of tension. From there, we moved into face yoga: "eye yoga," gua sha, face tapping, and what felt like a soft dance of lymphatic and EFT tapping for the whole body. It was so much more than a skin-care practice. Jenny's attention to detail made everything feel so special. She gave me a lovely little kit for the gua sha portion: a smooth gua sha tool, nourishing oil, a tissue wipe, and a vitamin C eye mask that felt like a cool, refreshing hug for my eyes. It was thoughtful in the kind of way that makes you feel truly cared for, like every part of the experience was designed to nurture you. By the end, my face felt lighter, a little brighter, and I left feeling calm and refreshed. I'll definitely be back for more of this gentle magic.

She appeared unprepared and unqualified, provided no constructive input, and offered no guidance when I asked for help with motivation--she literally said, "I don't know." Very awkward, and I did not know what to say, and we stood in a whole 2 minutes of silence! The session lacked any meaningful therapeutic conversation. Most of the questions she asked were irrelevant to my concerns (including whether my roommate had a girlfriend), and she offered no strategies, feedback, or support. Her nonverbal behavior also felt awkward and at times condescending. I would not recommend seeing this therapist, as the session felt unproductive and a waste of time.

I have no idea how long i was on the table (with an Amethyst Heating Pad for healing and comfort) - but when i got off the table, my back felt quite a bit better. Kristy shared with me some of the things she was able to intuit through Reiki about where i was blocked and a special message about my feet. I was also not aware that I had a center nearby in Norridge. The Center coaches Master's Myung Doh (Randy) & JoAnn Dickson are FANTASTIC! Body & Brain has been deemed a cult by many that have tried their services. The founder Ilchi Lee's brain education is considered pseudoscience. I came about 10 minutes early and the room was almost full, and within 10 minutes a ton of other people came in and we had to move around our mats for everyone to fit comfortably. With that being said, if you're coming with a partner, try to get there earlier than later to insure you'll be able to be next to them. I've never attended this kind of yoga class and it was very beginner friendly. They have all of the equipment you'll need including a mat if you didn't bring one. The instructor was great and it was a very relaxing mind and body experience. It was definitely something I needed after a tough week of workouts to loosen up my body. I left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed and would highly recommend this studio. I'd love to try their other classes.
