    Awesome cheese pizza

What a pleasant surprise! This pizza knocked it out of the park. Fresh hand tossed dough, lotsa rich sauce, and heavy on the cheese. It felt like each slice weighed a pound. Could only eat 2. Well worth hunting down this place

    The classic banana split.

There was a table available quickly, the service was fast and friendly. The food came out in a timely manner and was hot when it arrived. The pizza we ordered was delicious and the dessert was their specialty banana split. A confection of ice cream piled 3 high and topped off with whip cream and cherries. Delicious!

Milton, NC seems to have more eating and beverage establishments then any other business. And the hey are fans of race weekend. Yet we picked Aunt Millie's. Why you ask ? It's real simple. They had the crowd on the porch. So we headed inside the ambience has the feel of a store built at the turn of the century. And not the one from 19999 to 2000 I mean like 1899 to 1900. Building was cool. It looked like it had been a soda shop. But the aroma of the pizza oh my like the ceilings are twenty feet high but the smell wafted through the building leaving you with that desire to crave pizza and boy I did. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza. I requested a thin and crispy crust with the fixings The pizza came and it was just as I ordered. No a guy that 90% of the time my order is gotten wrong. But I don't scream and jump up and down on the table usually polite to point out something missing from my plate of the order just isn't mine. I ate that small size pizza yep Every tidbit almost no morsel left on my plate. I hardly left anything for the dog to lick. Yeah it was gooooood. Next time your in Milton, North Carolina you have to stop and try Aunt Millie's and oh by the way grab a double sundae. It was 98 degrees the ice cream hit the spot as we took the boat out onto Hyco Lake.

The onion rings we had left for the pic; we ate the other half.

Talk about a local hole in the wall that puts to shame all the chain pizza and sub businesses. Service was a slow start, but once she got us the service was amazing. Great family place or for a couple needing a change. We started with onion rings. Crispy outer coat with a great sweet onion slice inside. You'll have to ask for whatever dipping sauces you want because it comes with none. And the pic I'm posting of the onion rings is after we ate a few. We moved on to a steak and cheese sub with Mayo, tomatoes, onion, lettuce on a toasted bun. We each ate half and we both were happy to say best sub we'd had since moving this way 3 years ago. Our other entree was a personal pizza with pepperoni, diced green peppers and onions, mushrooms and of course the amazing cheese! Surprisingly not greasy, and filled with flavor. We each had a mug of beer with at total pre tax cost of $35. We had leftovers for tomorrow, too. Definitely a place to visit if you go through Southern Danville or Milton NC.

Food was delicious. Banana split is worth the trip! Check the hours before going by calling. No need to order extra cheese on pizza!!!

Pizza was crazy heavy on cheese, could be revamped easily. Banana split was... bananas! Let's talk money management... this place doesn't have a point of sales system. Receipts and orders are all oddly hand written. I think it's ok but I'd like to see the pizza improved and them modernize the money management system.

Oh how I wish this cute place wasn't so far from me!! I only get up to the NC/VA border on occasion from the Triangle area, but will have to make the effort more often now. I'm originally from Chicago where I'm used to excellent pizza, which is difficult to find in NC. I looked at the pictures of Aunt Millie's pizza and kept my fingers crossed that it may be a close match. Well yes it is!! The crust is wonderful! Crispy and chewy at the same time. The toppings are ample, even on what I consider to be a thin crust. It really holds up with so much piled on. The sauce is very tasty. The only thing I'd suggest is adding some fennel seed to it, which gives an unusual sweet flavor, IMHO, otherwise great sauce. I loved every bite of this pizza and glad I had some left over to take home! I do wish they had fountain service for soda refills, but one can only hope. The building is really cool and has got to be from sometime in the 1800's. Wish I'd have asked, but I was so blown away by the pizza I forgot!! Will have to ask when I return, which hopefully will be soon!

Excellent pizza (ordered before we left home and it was ready when we got there!) and the most humongous banana split I have ever seen!!!

The calamari over cooked to being near burnt with squid so gummy it was unpalatable. The cheeseburger sub barely had cheese but did include 2 slices of semi-cooked bacon which I removed because it was so undercooked. The burger was so over cooked I gave up after eating barely a 1/3 of a half of a 10" sub. Took it off the stale to burned sub roll hoping ketchup could salvage it, but I was wrong. The veal parmigiana sub had the same sub roll but my friend was so hungry he ate half. The veal was tasteless except for the sauce which really didn't have much flavor either. Our server still has not adapted to speaking with a mask on so we had to have her repeat everything and mostly just gave up on hearing her. She also couldn't total our check to pay at the register or gauge a tip. And she couldn't remember boxes for the one good part of the meal, the French fries. I've had the takeout and never been unhappy, but this dine in experience was one of the worst I've had anywhere in recent years. I do hope it was just an off night.
