I explained that I would be starting chemo and would likely lose my eyebrows. Carolina was incredibly understanding and made me feel like any other client--no judgment, no awkwardness, just kindness and professionalism. She did a fabulous job, and I was so impressed with my brows. Because of my treatment, I wasn't able to return for my touch-up within their normal timeframe. After completing chemo, I called and spoke with Brad, explained my circumstances, and he was extremely understanding and graciously made an exception for me. When I returned to Carolina, I had lost all of my eyebrow hair. She once again did an amazing job. When I looked in the mirror, I had tears in my eyes because for the first time in five months, I felt like I looked like myself again. That meant more to me than I can possibly explain. The service at Mila Aesthetics is impeccable, but what stands out even more is how kind, humble, compassionate, and understanding they are. I have mixed feelings and some disappointments from this experience especially two people…read morerecommended this place for me which made me have very high expectations. 1. Consultation process: I was very nervous since I am Asian and my eyes have folds which make the shape of liner extremely critical, if too long, my eyes would look droopy, if not thick enough, no one can tell I have eye liners on. One time I walked in and asked about consultation, see if they can draw the liners during consultation to make sure we are on the same page and to ease my nervousness since this is a permanent thing! But it was denied. Then I called to schedule a consultation, and when I showed up on the day of consultation, I was told my appointment was not on the system. WHAT?!?!? But I was quickly greeted and was told that my concerns are heard and understood. So I thought it should be good even though I can't see the liners drawn before they get tattooed..... 2. First session: I choose some photos from MM Brows' site as reference and explained the thickness of the liner that I need. And the adjustments I need. From the communication, it seemed that my requests are understood. During the process, very little numbing solution was applied, I had to bite my tongue and resist the pain a lot. At the end my eyes were swollen which are to be expected. When the session is done, I was offered to use the makeup closeup mirror to check the results, they appeared ok except days later after the swelling is gone, the lines can barely be seen. NO ONE KNEW that I had liners tattooed. I guess the swelling and the blowup mirror created the false impression that the artist gave me the liner thickness I asked for. 3. Follow up session: I again made the emphasis about the shape and liner thickness I requested due to the shape of my eyelids. I told her that since I have to go through this pain to get tattooed and naturally I want the results that meet my original requests. During the process, again, very little numbing solution was applied and my eyes were in severe pain. I had to request additional numbing cream in order to continue the process. I also drew the shape and thickness of the liners I want using phone app to demonstrated what I expect to receive. Unfortunately, the end results are not what I requested. 4. Positive notes: The work is very detailed despite the fact that it's not the shape or thickness I requested ... and the lady has good sense of humor

I made the appointment I went there and there was no one there. I finally got in touch with someone and they said oh, we won't see you on Sunday. They then try to set another appointment and I told them they didn't value my time and I couldn't trust them with anything else. What a disappointment do not trust these guys they don't care about your time and they probably aren't going to care about their product big mistake as I told them when someone makes an appointment that far in advance it's generally a professional that cares about their time as am I and I am also in front of a lot of people so their loss thank God it was a good save for me.

I was a bit nervous to get my eyeliner permanently tattooed on my face, more because of the pain…read morethan anything else. Jameson did my work and his craftsmanship is excellent1 He applied a numbing creme beforehand, so it didn't really hurt, just felt kind of like little pokes around my eyelid. It didn't take too long to do and I was out in 40 minutes! I'm super happy with the results and just hope it lasts for at least three years before I have to go back! You must return after 6 weeks for touch-ups. The color may also look lighter after that time. So I'll have to wait and see. It was great to wake up this morning with one less thing to apply to my face! So yes, I would recommend this place. It is located in between the walkway of the building, so you don't see it from the outside.
