This is the best school in Tulsa. The small class size and quality of education is unmatched!

Cascia Hall Preparatory School - Met my old high school teacher from Illinois! Small world

Cascia Hall Preparatory School

Academics are solid with a great mixture of modern teaching including Chromebooks, interactive, and minimester concentration on well-rounded events and life skills. Sports are easy to participate in and extracurricular activities are plentiful. Students wear full dress - blazers and ties for boys - during the majority of the year. As with any high school, teenage issues are present but my children have not a complaint about their teachers nor their fellow classmates being extraordinary in personality nor perspective. I recommend this school.

As a current student I have had nothing but a positive experience at this school. Coming from a…read morepublic school into Cascia, which is unlike most of the student body who come usually from Monte Cassino, the smaller class sizes embodies a much more familial experience in comparison to public schools. Not only is it possible to become closer to your classmates, but you become closer to your teachers and much more comfortable to ask for help. Of course, Cascia is known very well for the academics provided here. The academic life at Cascia is no small feat and to be taken very seriously. Despite the difficulty of the academics, we students are not alone and have teachers as well as each other to ask for help and advice. If you are considering going here or you are a parent considering for you're child to go here, be prepared for long nights of homework as this is what going to a College Preparatory school entails. In enduring the classes here, you develop study tools that will be necessary in college. Many students who are not given the same academic experience received at Cascia, are not as prepared for college when the time comes. As well as the academic reputation Cascia is known for, we have an athletic one, too. Dependent upon the sport, Cascia is a 4a/5a school with as vast array of sports for one to "get involved" in, as our coaches so often tell us. Though not a large school, Cascia more than compensates with talent and immensely supportive coaching from the coaching staff. Not only are our coaches supportive of us on the field/court/track/green/etc, but off the field too, seeing as most of our coaches double as teachers as well. We develop close bonds with our coaches that many at a large school do not have the opportunity to develop. And as to be expected from a Catholic school, the religious aspects of Cascia are interwoven throughout our entire high school experience. Four of five mornings out of the week, upper school students attend chapel just before school starts, for announcers, birthday acknowledgments, and prayer. We also pray in school at the beginning and end of everyday (some teachers also pray before class), we embody the Augustinian values of Truth, Unity, and Love, and every student, as a senior, is given the amazing opportunity to attend Kairos. However, it does not matter what religion you are or what beliefs you posses, they WILL BE ACCEPTED AND APPRECIATED at Cascia Hall. Many believe one must be of a Christian faith to belong at our campus, but that is just not true. There is a very wide variety of religions at Cascia and, as I said, each and every one are respected and even encouraged, as Cascia Hall wants us students to grow in whichever belief we have. Naturally, as with any high school experience, there will be ups and downs. However, at Cascia Hall, I can guarantee that someone will be there to cheer you on in the good times and help carry you in the bad.
