It was your mapley fingers caressing me as I made out in your darkened playgrounds as a frisky teenager. Your salty ocean waters contain more than a little of my pee, and your majestic mountain ranges thrust into the sky as did I when youthfully-dry humping in your mountainy campgrounds. Bits of my liver live in memoriam at the Red Arrow, and Manchester's late Bickfords holds some of my lungs. So very many unlawful clove cigarettes passed my lips there in the early 1990s that I was nearly a goth, but I failed. It took leaving New Hampshire to appreciate it. Now, living in a state where booze is outlawed in state parks (boo!), I appreciate it even more. Leave it, and then love it.

This was a memorable late Fall experience. And hands down, one of the very best Vineyard…read moreexperiences we've ever had. Averill Vineyard has had a tasting room dating for at least 20 years. It is a family owned and operated business, and has been A family owned and operated farm from 1830. The Vineyard now follows organic principles with 11 different varieties of grapes. In 2012, the family went to Spain. Their grandmother suggested they open a vineyard and they took her counsel to heart. They cultivated hearty wines to begin; Concord, Catawba and Niagara varieties. As time went by, they expanded their selections. Today, they have a truly diverse collection of vines, from Tempranillo to Cabernet. The unique part of visiting this vineyard is the personal attention we get from the owners. Our group got to not only see each step of the production, but then got to bottle, cork and foil our own bottle. Afterwards, we got to see and sample not only the wine selections, but a wonderful selection of hors d'oeuvres. It was really, really a unique and memorable occasion.

The man working actually stated he felt her lack of a recipt after several months was " shady". I am VERY upset with his implication that my sweet little country gal was up to no good. Two other customers( i assume regulars) walked right in and out deposits processed no check of any kind for a receipt or even ID age verification which with no alchohol involved woild be uneeded anyway but at least.would make sense. Great selection, cold coolers, and minus the atrocity of a human being at the register a very good shop. 2/5stars I suppose is fair...

We went in and it was just a very friendly welcome. Airy and spacious, with a high tech beer menu board that visually depicts what they have and how much is left. There are two main spaces for seating, the main storefront and next door, connected by an archway. The beers are superb. As an IPA lover, I started with their DIPA Alien Autopsy and followed it with the Sasquatch, a single IPA. My other half had the Blueberry and the Festival King, an imperial pumpkin ale. All were amazingly good. Ogie has a First Responder and Military Board where you can pay forward a drink so those folks who keep us safe, can enjoy a libation. I thought that was a class detail. The clientele was amicable, easy going and obviously, local. This is a unique place with first-rate beers.
