Fertilization and Weed Control A granular fertilizer and liquid herbicide will each be applied four times throughout the mowing season. Your first applications will include a crab grass preventer and a broadleaf pre-emergent coupled with a balanced granular fertilizer. Additional applications will consist of a balanced granular fertilizer accompanied by a broadleaf post emergent. Schedule of application is determined by contractor in accordance with soil and weather conditions. read more

Ripped up part of my lawn and made a rut in the yard. When I let the owner know about it, he told me his worker probably didn't even know he made a rut in the yard but, when you have to use your truck to pull out the stuck aerator, I think the worker knew. So much for the excuse that he didn't even know. No accountability and poor communication. My neighbors have a whole other story. Would not recommend or use again. read more

Agusta Greens was doing lawn work on my neighbor's property. The two employees attempted to turn their truck and trailer around by driving up into my driveway and backing back out into the street. They made several attempts and before they got turned around, they damaged my lawn and left black tire marks on my concrete driveway. I sent Augusta Greens an email notifying them of this incident and the damage but received no response whatsoever from the company. Avoid Augusta Greens. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Hired in April of 2020 as I had just moved to a single family home and did not own a lawn mower/did not want to mow my own lawn. Decided with owner to hire company for bi-weekly services at about $50 per servic($100/month). Hired company on April 18th of 2021, services started on 05/05/2021. I received my first invoice on 05/05/2021 and paid it right away. The invoice was $100. Augusta came out once on 05/05/2021 and claims they came out again on or around 05/20/2021. Although, the second time they reported they came out my lawn looked terrible (no different than it had before), the area around my fence was not trimmed (even though they reported they would do this), and my neighbors who are home all day every day report they did not see anyone out and they would know because they themselves were outside all day doing their own gardening and yard work. Now, almost 7 months later, owner emails me and says I owe $214 as an outstanding balance from May services. Owner is stating that my previous payment was from services in April when they did not start services until May 5 of 2021. Owner also has no idea of when services started, what the rate of payment was, when they actually came out to provide services, and is threatening legal action/court intervention regardless of the fact that all of the evidence clearly shows that services started in May of 2021, payment for the month of May of 2021 was paid, and services were canceled on June 2nd, of 2021. I think it's ironic that as a seasonal company they are emailing 3 days before Christmas saying I owe them money. Even when proving to owner I paid them for services, the timeline that they actually came out, and proof that I paid, the owners response was, "ok, then you owe us $107". No, absolutely not okay. I'm not usually one to leave reviews but this is just not okay with me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I ended up purchasing lawn maintenance tools (weed wacker and mower) by mid May and cancelled one month after hiring these guys. (also don't know why my review is saying I'm from CA area. I was appreciative that they were able to fit me into their schedule on short notice, however the job done was very shabby -- there were still dandelion stems sticking up above the rest of the grass and the grass length did not appear even. My husband's words were "this is a half-a**ed job at best." When my husband came home he called me about several broken tiles by our front door stoop. They were fine when I left that morning, and no one else was at our house between when I left and when my husband came home other than the guys from Augusta Greens. I emailed the company and the owner called me back and left a message on my voicemail in a tone of voice I can only describe as "curt." I received an invoice/bill for the mow a few days later. When I did not respond to the voicemail after a few days the owner emailed me to tell me that the damage was not done by a leaf blower (not sure where he got that considering I never once mentioned a leaf blower). I emailed the owner back saying I preferred to have written record of our conversation, and that I would like $10 taken off our bill to recover the cost of the broken tiles and materials to recement them. I never heard back from anyone. I received another invoice/bill emailed to me a few days later for the exact same amount as the first bill. I would NEVER use this company again nor recommend them to anyone. No one held themselves accountable for the damage or even said "sorry." VERY disappointed. UPDATE: Two weeks after canceling my contract two males who worked for the service tried to come and mow my lawn. When they were unable to access our backyard through our fence they actually scaled the fence and jumped onto our deck -- I was home at the time and watched them do it. I went outside and told them to leave. And to make matters worse, I received a letter from a collection's company months after my check was cashed! Augusta Greens sent my bill to collections even though I paid it in June. Naturally I am disputing the matter, but I am astounded by the nerve of these assholes! I even have the carbon copy of the check I wrote them in June. STAY AWAY!!! SECOND UPDATE: Owner of the company texted me this very inappropriate message after reading my above review: "Kelly, this is Jeremy with Augusta Greens. I just noticed you gave us a bad review. Just wanted to make sure you are ok? Remember we are the company that went out of our way to get your property taken care of? Then you said we broke your tiles which isn't even possible. Then you didn't pay your bill of $XX.XX and then said your review was based on us not giving you $10 for the tiles we didn't break? Please use a little more thought the next time you decide to share your thoughts. Bad reviews hurt everyone in our company. When we lose business and have to lay off employees who have families because potential customers rely on reviews to make buying decisions, make sure the $10 in tiles that we didn't break are worth it. I was looking for a landscaping business to come and clean up all the pine needles in my yard... Augusta Greens was the first company I found and they were very good fitting me into their schedule. They came out and were very thorough and bagged up all the needles. They took away all the bags and worked with me to pay in a reasonable amount of time. I am truly BEYOND impressed! As a single working mom, sometimes there are chores that fall behind. My lawn was my latest victim. It got so long, I was worried I'd lose my 10-year old in the brush. So before my neighbors gathered in my driveway with signs of protest, I caved and called Augusta Greens. Jeremy was so kind. Not only did he add me to his schedule, they were at my house by 8:30 the next morning just to save me from becoming the neighborhood pariah! They did such a beautiful job and were so detailed. I know they had a packed schedule and didn't just cram me in as a favor: They truly gave my lawn amazing attention. And my neighbors love me again! Augusta Greens is now caring for my lawn for the rest of the season, without a doubt. And lucky me, they will be my snow plow heroes this winter, too! read more

I purchased a summer season of lawn service for my parents as a Christmas gift; I live out in California. The yard service itself is great-once weekly mowing and edging. Communication with customers seems lackluster: they changed the mow schedule date for the house but didn't tell us, received our payment but didn't process it, then accused me of not paying, then gave me someone else's bill to pay because they got our names confused despite different bill amounts, promised to finally process payment right away, and now several weeks later have JUST NOW processed payment. I'm infuriated with the whole situation, but my family seems happy enough with the results. Next time around will certainly be shopping for a more organized and pain free company. --- UPDATE a/o 8/3/16 Despite the whole rigamarole we went through last month and already processing payment for the whole summer I have received another invoice. Very poor lawn care service as well as customer service. Several unanswered phone calls about destroyed edging, scalping of lawn, unscheduled visits and list goes on. Do NOT give them your debit or credit card information because they will also make unauthorized charges. Stay away from this company. read more
