Where to start.. I went to BH dentist to fix onlay, I had a pain after new one. Long story short, he filed down other teeth, it cause my biting got so bad. My natural teeth got chipped fractured ... Then I went to 3 dentists for consulting. I chose another BH dentist who says he is prosthodontist. He looks decent so I made an appointment with him. My appointment day different female Dr showed up. I got nervous because she doesn't know me, but she said we exchange your info , everything will be OK. I trusted her . That's was bad. Long story short, she didn't fix any biting, she just replaced my 3 natural teeth to crowns. It means same height . Just my oral condition got worse. I lost 15 lb , I was wearing night guard for 24/7. My friend recommended me to see Dr August. He understand my problems, he added temporarily composite to on my teeth to fix my bite and easy my life. It help me a lot . After that I got replaced crown. Let me tell you what good about DR August, he listens, patient, and he explains what he does to you before he does anything. This is very important . I really think. Only I can say is good thing . He is very very nice and good looking ! Oh I also want to share things. I didn't have dental insurance so that I have spent 4000 for previous dental work already. I was recommended to apply delta insurance which Dr August accept. Wow! Where do I begin... I have finally found the best dentist. Dr. De Oliviera and his staff are truly the best. They make you feel comfortable and like you are family. They explain each and everything they are doing and ensure that you are comfortable and at ease. I came in with some pretty bad pain and within one visit he was able to take X-rays, diagnosis the problems and get a full root canal done-crown and all in one visit! I can't tell you how wonderful it is to not have to come back to get your permeant crown. He makes the crowns in office and let me tell you it is beautiful. Dr. D also advised me I would need two extractions and implants done. Hearing this I wasn't excited but knew I was in the best hands. Wow! What an amazing experience. Had a fractured lower molar that needed a crown. Came in the late afternoon and left in an hour or so with a completely new crown. Everyone from my hygenist, Genie, to Tracy at the front desk, to Dr. D himself are people I call friends. Tracy and I always have some silly banter when she calls to confirm and we laugh when I show up and leave. Genie listens to my stories and I know many of hers. Somehow between all that talking she gets my teeth to sparkle. Then Dr. D comes in and we shoot the breeze while he looks me over. Why does any one not look forward to going to the dentist? I look forward to seeing this crew every 6 months. They keep in touch in between too on all major holidays and your birthday. Every year over the holidays I try really hard to eat a bunch of sweets and get a cavity so I can come in for an extra visit but it never works because they taught me to brush and floss too well.
