Without seeing a menu it's hard to tell what they were gonna have only thing I read about was breakfast and brunch. When we showed up they didn't have their menu posted outside like the other Restos but I got such a good feeling when I walked in that I didn't care and just grabbed a spot on the Deck. Beautiful deck with amazing big comfy wooden chairs with comfy seats. There's a beautiful tree that goes over the seating area covered in purple and gold lights it's really pretty. Service was quick and friendly the man we met was from France very sweet and gave us great service. Food Kale and cheese salad was amazing! Flavours were all there and the piece of cheese was huge so no complaints on the cheese portion size. Only thing I would change is put thicker pieces of Lardon as I noticed it was very thin and little slices of bacon hard to grab it. Chicken burger with cheese and cranberry sauce is great the chicken was to thick tho it should of been hammered out more but the chicken was perfectly cooked and crispy great quality. They added tomatoes and mustard which was a bit random almost like they tried to make it a good old fashion American burger but than they made something fancy. I would suggest maybe a sweet mayo and a tart cranberry sauce. I did request that they don't put walnuts in my salad but they did I told the guy but I said it's okay I'm not deathly allergic just to be careful for next time for others who are super allergic. He said sorry explained they just weren't thinking the guys in the back he offered us drinks we said no. We will back it was such fresh vegetables and great service everything tasted great

The crowd was moderately loud and singing along with the musician playing the guitar. His music was current and he was good. The couple of staff that assisted us were great. They were French speakers but were fluent in English. My accent amused them. I ordered a McKeown Cidre Pomme. Very nice and smooth. Didn't have that sharp tang that many ciders have. Going local I ordered the Poutine. Fries were covered in brown gravy with cheese curds. Amazing flavor. Don't know why we don't have this in Texas. We also ordered the charcuterie platter. Large amount of food for the price. Multiple selection of meats and cheeses. Great flavors and I highly recommend it especially for table sharing. Fantastic pub experience. Definitely on my 'Keepers List'.

What a sumptuous meal! It included: lobster tail with caviar, handmade pasta with crab and uni, wild mushrooms with egg, stuffed quail and foie gras, and chocolate hazelnut mousse. The portions are generous sized and they make sure to give time in between each course so it's definitely a good 2.5-3 hr affair. The service strikes the right balance of attentive and also providing privacy and peace to enjoy the dinner. The flavors are excellent and the quality of the food is high. The price is also fairly reasonable for the quantity of food and quality. A great restaurant in a charming city. Highly recommend a visit if in the area!

Great little place with a fantastic patio on the St. Lawrence. We went there on a Saturday night at…read morea little after 7 and were disappointed to see a sign on the door saying that the dining room was full. Happily, the hostess got the ok to seat us (party of 2) and we went on the patio. Unfortunately, the houseflies on the patio were too much for us and we had to go inside after about 20 minutes. But the food was very good. We shared a calamari appetizer and split a burger, and both were quite good. The ownership also runs a farm that raises excellent cattle, whose meat is served in all the beef dishes on the menu, so we thought the burger was an appropriate choice. We were right. As someone else noted, La Ferme also serves locally-brewed beer (Les Grandes Bois, in nearby St. Casimir), but it also sources other ingredients from local farms such as Terra Sativa in St. Alban. The service was attentive but not suffocating and the kitchen did a good job with the dishes we enjoyed. We'd gladly make a return visit!
