The broth was delicious though a bit salty. The wontons were soft but not mushy Next, Pooh had the Udon Chicken with extra shrimp. He said it was delicious I had the Orange Chicken. The chicken was breaded but not too much. Definitely more juicy chicken and less breading - bonus! The veggies were crispy A wonderful experience. We will be back

The side salad (that came with the Imperial roll) was a great palette cleanser For our main meal Pooh ordered the Pad Thai and I ordered General Tao chicken Pooh thought his meal was okay. The Pad Thai was very tomato forward almost like ketchup My General Tao was okay as well. I wished the nuggets were more crispy and had some flavour Basic Chinese food. Probably won't return for lunch but may come for supper to see if there is a difference

The place is big with decor clearly showcasing the type of cuisine made available for its clientele. The service was average, nothing noteworthy which was odd, considering only a handful of clients were present during lunch. I ordered some Won Ton soup as well as the General Tao plate. The Won Ton was unimpressive and didn't stand out. Oddly, our table didn't have any soya sauce and I didn't bother to ask. The General Tao was a decent portion served in a gastronomical fashion. It was very good and probably saved this placed from earning a 2 star or less rating. Nothing comparable to some places in Montreal but served its function. No fortune cookies. Ordered coffee and it was pretty bad. All in all, a forgettable experience and the next time I'm in Joliette, I'd probably hit another resto.
