They did park the cars for us but when it was time to get the cars they just handed us our keys. I'm not sure if that is standard or that is how they did only for us but it was only $3 and I put the tip in my pocket that I was going to give to the valet at the end. This valet is for the entire back lot not just exclusive to Rosen so I am not holding any of that against them. Package: We had a party of 8 and booked the large room which required us to have the $370 package. It kind of sucked because a lot of our party doesn't drink so we were forced to have to pay for a big bottle of alcohol that not everyone wanted. I wish there was a way to just sub food instead of the alcohol for people who don't drink. They said our large room would've fit up to 12 people but in my opinion, the large room should be for up to about 8 people if you want room to move around. Karaoke Selection: They had a lot of good classics but their collection is definitely LACKLUSTER. The other thing I didn't like was they provided no instructions and everything is in Korean so we had to figure the system out on our own. Instead of simply helping us, the first thing they asked was whether we had paid for valet. We explained that we hadn't because we parked the car ourselves. Their immediate response was, "You don't have money to pay?" That comment was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Do we look like we can't afford to pay? The issue was never about the money--it was about the lack of communication and the disrespectful attitude. If the valet service has a fee even when customers self-park, that should be explained clearly from the beginning. This is not how you treat loyal customers. Service Charges and Taxes will be added to the final tab... and any amount that exceeds the $60 credit worth of food/drinks (of course). Skewers are delicious, fries and taters are crispy, and the booze make me happy. I'm very glad they still serve Jinro over Good Day / Soon Hari (they taste funky compared to Jinro). They also have a cool beer tower where there is a separate chamber filled with ice to keep the beer cold without diluting it (melted ice). Rooms, restroom, and equipment continue to be clean and awesome quality. I just realized there are no minimums M-Th so I might go by myself after work even though it's only 2 hours of happy hour compared to the 4 hours on the weekends. They aren't cheap with their AC either unlike K-Republic when it was still open. This place is better than any place I know of in K-town and even the SGV. Was originally going to give 3.5 star but there's no half star option. -1 star due to weekday happy hour only 6-8 so very short happy hour time yet the store does not open 10 min in advance but instead opens right at 6 so after checking in (they make you provide your phone number to send you a very long text to read before you're assigned a room) you'll be at your room around 6:10 (could be even later if there's more parties present at same time). -0.5 because since happy hour is only 2 hours (technically speaking), you have to place ALL your order before 7. Any orders placed after 7 are considered additional purchases and cannot be deducted by the food credit. So you have to spend another 10 min to decide your food options so for large parties, I don't recommend weekday happy hour, not worth your time for 1.5 hours. Their weekend happy hour is longer but busier so might find a chance to give that a try.
