Sound Lux review…read more After weeks of research into the world of hifi, I was going round in circles not knowing what system was right for me, the endless options were overwhelming and I just wanted to get it right. I decided to seek out a local audio store and came across Sound Lux. Not knowing it was by appointment only, I rang the buzzer and Eric kindly invited me up to the studio unannounced. Having only just met Eric, he greeted me into the studio like an old friend, and we spent the next hour chatting music, listening to different systems and by the end I had a clear vision of what I wanted and Eric was going to help build it for me. It was exactly what I had been looking for, and all too serendipitous. From then on it just got better and better. Eric and his colleague, Federico, put together a full system spec. and sent over a quote. In a matter of a couple weeks, the system had arrived, and they invited me back to the studio to listen to it. I walked in and they had everything set up, with my own chair to listen and a complimentary drink. I spent the next 1.5 hours by myself listening to the system, getting lost in the sound. It was truly an epic moment. From there Federico took over, he hand delivered the system to my home, set everything up and tuned it to my space. He spent an hour teaching me every control and way to use it. On top of that they gave me a complimentary cleaning brush! The system is my pride and joy, and is by far the greatest investment I've made and a massive part of that is down to genuine care and enthusiasm the guys provided along the way. I'm new to the hifi world and listening to both Eric and Federico's backgrounds in music and their endless passion for it has left me forever inspired to keep learning. I cannot recommend SoundLux more, not just for the service but for the journey they took me on to find the system I now love. Cheers guys!

This was my second time hiring SAV Technology, and Ariel did a great job both times. The first…read moretime, he installed a TV on a concrete column between walls of windows -- I was skeptical, but he made it look fantastic. When I moved, he removed the bracket and reinstalled it with my TV and speaker at my new place, along with a Samsung Frame TV and another speaker below. The setup looks clean and well done. I had a couple of concerns: during the Frame install, it sounded like he may have hit metal when drilling, and during the previous bracket reinstall, I briefly worried about the electrical panel behind. Also, the blue protective blankets left dye on my tile floors, which took a few scrubs to remove -- so a heads-up if you have porous tiles. Overall, very happy with the results -- just shy of 5 stars due to those small issues.

I employed "Skals IT" to speed up my laptop and fix the "no sounds" out of speakers or headphones…read moreissue it recently had. Had happened in the last two days, were working and just suddenly stopped working. But did work to an external source like extended screen. The good - he accessed my laptop by remote connection and he cleared a lot of bloatware with CC Cleaner free version. And did get my laptop to run better. But he couldn't get my sound to work on on speakers or headphones and after uninstalling and reinstalling Realtek drivers a few times, he stated that the sound-card must have failed on the laptop, which either requires a used motherboard to be fitted (because new aren't available) or buy a new laptop. The bad: So I did some digging and found an app called "Fortrek for windows". I paid for one year's service and "Fortrek" went right through my laptop, cleared up more junk on it AND updated every driver that was out of date. It rebooted my laptop after all processes and guess what? My sound is now working on the speakers and on the headphones perfectly.

The room is fairly large, and he ran each of the surround speakers to an area that Best Buy told me was impossible (which is why I called Miami Wired in the first place . . . I wasn't getting the answers I wanted to hear from Best Buy). My system cost me almost $22,000 before installation, so to say I was nervous about the installer is an understatement. Now, I call him and refer him to every single friend I have who is in need of anything audio/video related. In fact, I referred him to my neighbor, who in turn used him to install a media room for training presentations in the immigration office of a government building here in Miami who now uses him for her personal indoor/outdoor media system. I cannot recommend highly enough.
