James did not have the part in stock, but instead of simply telling me it was unavailable and ending the call, he went above and beyond to help me. He told me not to waste my time calling Toyota dealerships all over the country one by one. He took the time to search Toyota's dealer inventory system to see if any dealership might still have this discontinued part sitting in stock. James found one for me at a Toyota dealership in Tampa, Florida, and he even took the extra step of finding their telephone number so I could call them directly. Because of James, I was able to locate what appears to be the last one I could find anywhere in the United States. I had spent so much time searching for this part and had reached the point where I honestly thought I would never find one. James made absolutely nothing from helping me. We'd been shopping a while to replace a 2019 Tundra 1794 that had been lost in a collision. We'd been a little apprehensive about the newer Tundras and were considering a pre-owned 1794 from a trusted dealership in Florida from where we'd purchased Toyotas before, but we first wanted to locally test drive the newer engines (hybrid and regular) back-to-back and also wanted to feel the difference between Limited and 1794/Platinum, before finalizing our decision. Cody Debruhl is expertly knowledgeable and totally satisfied all our questions, then he and Ralph made it happen within our budget on a BRAND NEW Limited! When it became apparent that we would not be able to go home with a truck that day, they even offered to loan a truck to us to bridge the gap until ours arrived. I just want to add that we are a long-time Toyota family. We were willing to fly to buy a pre-owned Tundra from a trusted dealership in our former home state of Florida because we were dissatisfied with our experiences with the sales staff at several local dealerships. THEN, we decided to drive 90 minutes to Lugoff Toyota simply to test drive a couple of pre-owned Tundras there before committing to the Florida offer.
