I've had a couple of keys cut here, and the keys unlock my doors. That's really all I ask. The service was pretty quick (but I mean I've got no idea how long cutting a key should take, so who knows) and to get a key was only a few dollars which seems pretty good to me. If you wanted to buy a lock then the place immediately gets more interesting - they've got shelves and shelves of all different kinds of locks, far more than I can ever imagine using. But I assume for people who need these things, the difference between deadbolt A and deadbolt B is hugely critical.

He would not believe me even though I showed him the difference in thickness between the original key and the one he cut for me. He charged me for another key which he said would fit. Mum and I have come here a number of times to get our shoes repaired. They always do a wonderful job and best of all its cheap! There are so many shoe repair stores that rip you off!! The only down fall I have with this place is that it isn't located conveniently to me. As it's in a direction I never go in, sometimes it's easier to go elsewhere due to convenience. However when I needed to get two pair of boots fixed, I made the journey to come here as I knew I wasn't going to be charged an arm and a leg, also I would be happy with the result. Armstrong was engaged by AA to assist us when our only car key was stolen. We advised AA it was…read moreurgent because we were stranded with an 11 month old baby. AA advised Armstrong would be there in 15-60 minutes. They arrived after about 80 minutes. When the locksmith arrived, he got to work without delay, however he never really spoke to us. We waited near the car with our 11 month old baby for TWO HOURS while the locksmith continued trying to create a replacement key. At no stage did the locksmith bother to tell us it would take hours, or we would have found another way to get our daughter home right away. After more than 2 hours, we asked what was happening and the locksmith said it would be another half hour. At this stage, we got our daughter home in an Uber. After another hour the locksmith said he didn't know how to create a replacement key. We got another locksmith out the next day who explained it would take a few hours and that we didn't need to be there. They created the replacement key without any fuss. We have now had to phone and ask Armstrong for their invoice 3 times ($180 for the call-out!) so we can submit it with an insurance claim. They keep promising to send the invoice but have failed to do so.
