I finally visited the book store and was blown away at its size and availability of gear, including a few Greek options, that included gear I hadn't seen before. I dove in on a few TU Mom, Dad, and sister shirts, as well as some Frat 'nalia, and I walked out spending ONLY $100!! I can't wait to return.

The history that comes with its beauty is what I truly loved. You can visit the George Washington Carver Museum, tour the home Booker T. Washington built and visit the burial site of him and his family along with other historic burial sites..all of which are located in the heart of campus. I recommend you see everything! The university was oddly very quiet. Which left us to assume that the students were in their dorms feverishly studying. Make sure to visit the Tuskegee Airmen National Museum on your way into campus (crawford st.) it's simply amazing to see and read about the young airmen. Emotional to say the least.
Celebrated PACCAR Day there! Everyone was so gracious.
Make sure to take a tour & learn the epic history, of this university and its founders!

The town is very nice as well. There are plenty of dining options in the community for those who are looking for burgers all the way up to fine dining. Students seem to genuinely in love with the campus, town and people. The Greek system is vibrant and healthy. The bad stuff - The roads and parking are tasked to the breaking point on move in days, game days, etc. I've even seen them block sidewalk handicap ramps with barricades for no apparent reason on game days and keep roads blocked off long after the game has ended and the crowd has left. The dining plan is a joke. The only cafeteria type restaurant on campus is $15 for lunch and $20 for dinner which is robbery. Students don't seem form the personal relationships with faculty which were the norm at my university.

The building was brand-new, and the cleanliness of the building matched its newness. The hallways were long and wide to hold the presumably large student body.
