Poor service, my girlfriend went in alone to replace a single tire and staff didn't acknowledge her until she asked for a tire change. They ask her to bring it in, she does so and they tell her they'll check to see if they already have the tire used. They don't, so they say they'll have to buy a brand new one and the total would be $400 for a single tire. Went around the corner to a different shop and got said tire brand new for $90. These guys are amazing. After calling around to see who could swap my new tires from my old vehicle to my new vehicle they were the most affordable in price. I asked when the soonest they could get me in and they said right now. I told them I had to find someone to drive one of my cars over so we made an appointment for the following morning. They had all of my tires off and back on within 45 minutes or less. A couple weeks later I drove in and asked if they could please take my spare that was in the back of my car and put it underneath where it is supposed to be stored. I first visited Auburn Tire Center based on a recommendation, just after I moved to this area about 2 years ago. I think I've purchased 4 new tires at some point PLUS(!), I've had the best luck (NOT!), to have managed to get 3 (yes THREE) bad tire punctures in the 3 of the 4 new tires (maybe 2 punctures in the same tire, I don't recall...). Anyhow, the punctures necessitated more "trips" to Auburn Tire, than I had ever anticipated, and I still can not say enough great things about the owner (Jay) and the entire crew. Everyone there is extremely honest, quick, nice to work with and well, very caring - last week, when I showed up with puncture #3 (in less than 1 year), the owner gave me an unbelievable discount (I think he felt really sorry for me..."I" was feeling sorry for me too), but he definitely didn't need to do that!!! I live in Nevada City, so going to Auburn for all of my (and now my husband's) tire needs, is a bit of a trek, but I won't go anywhere else!!! read more

I bought a new set of 4 tires on Sept 7/2024. On Sept 13, one of them blew out from hitting a small pothole. I went in, and the owner, or manager, said he cannot respect my warranty, and pointed to my scuffed up rim stating that I hit a curb, and caused sidewall damage. I was in a rush to work, and bought another one. I went back to discuss my case, and my reasoning for why I should get a new tire replaced for free, and he got heated and defensive and said no. I feel that is terrible business practice, and I will never be going back, and I advise anyone buying a new set of tires to shop elsewhere, where your warranty will be respected in case of a random tire failure. Thank you Auburn tire center for saving this panicked mom!!! My tire light came on and I noticed I had a screw in my back tire. Being that I had to pick up my kids from school, I hurried to the gas station to put air in it. Realizing that the air wasn't going to hold for very long, I began calling around to several tire shops in the area. Almost all said that they didn't have availability until the following day. After feeling like I called every shop in Grass Valley, I called my husband who found Auburn tire Center. How did I miss them?? They had immediate availability and upon arriving at the shop, they immediately jacked my car up and had the tire off. In less than 10 minutes my tire was repaired. Tl;Dr - This shop broke my wheel stud, refused to fix it. Then lied after saying they would fix it. I definitely wouldn't go to this place again, nor would I recommend anyone go here for anything. I got a set of tires from here a few months ago that came up to around 600$ (not bad for pirelli but still a bit expensive). Same day I needed a brake job. So I go to take my front left off and part of my wheel stud with my lug nut is completely sheared off sitting in my wheel cover. I go straight back to auburn tire and they start arguing with me saying I broke it when it was obviously their fault. Which goes back and forth until they realize it was clearly them over torquing with their air impact. Eventually the younger guy says he will have his brother in Sacramento fix it. I then went to the shop he told me to go to and the guy says his brother told him nothing so he can't help me. I don't get how they could be so shady and not own up to the damage they did. read more

I went in to get 2 tires replaced and these people we absolutely great. I did not realize that one of the rims (which was a spare on my trailer was a different diameter than the other rim on my trailer), but they helped me get the correct tires. Kudos too as they were very fast! read more

This is the place I called around for a tire rotation, got few quotes and waiting time would be 3 hrs to 4 or make appointment, so I scheduled an appointment with America's tire in Auburn, I have bought few tires from them for my other vehicles, so I scheduled my appointment, I got there at 11:15 for my 11:45am appointment, I waited 50minutes in line, and I was in the front line, 3 people where answering phones, they took many calls, before they considered the people that was in line, finally they called next, told them I had an appointment, he took my keys went outside and came back and said they could not do it, that I needed new tires, I knew dam well, I did not need new tires, he then went on by saying he had great prices for the set my car needed, I told him to give me the keys and walked away, I called Auburn tires in grass valley, wow, just wow, they gave me a responsible price, went there , they told me to park the car, and in 10 minutes, they came back and said they where done very friendly and very fast service, I was in and out and 100% satisfied I will be buying my new set of tires with them, love that they did only what I asked and never pushed any sales on me! Horrible Place! My wife returned a U haul trailer at Auburn Tire Center in Grass Valley California on Monday. The Salesman where rude and disrespectful to her. They were not happy the trailer was showing up at there business. It was not our fault U haul told us to take it here. Do not punish the customer! They made her back the trailer into a tight spot and they did not help her at all and made fun of her backing skills and rolled there eyes at her. They were going to let her back the trailer into a car so they can get insurance money from us and proceeded to laugh at her. They were rude to her the whole time. They tried to steal my trailer light adapter that I bought from the other U haul center where I picked the trailer up. As of this morning they have charged my Credit Card double for unknown reasons. These people are Crooks, Thieves, and Disrespect there customers. Do not support this terrible Business go somewhere else!
