I was faintly aware of them, as I have seen sale ads for it in the past, but I never knew exactly what or where they were. It was a sale ad that drew me into this Newport branch. I was interested in cowpots: extremely biodegradable pots for starting plants in, and in vegetable seeds. They have the same brand name seeds as you see in a lot of stores, but also create some of their own, for bulk or regular purchases. They have a large selection of items for farmers, whether large farms or backyard gardeners like me. So I browsed for a while, chose some seeds and cowpots, and was on my way. Oddly enough, when you first walk in there appeared to be a fairly significant hardware section off to one side, so I guess combining reasons for shopping is feasible. I am sure I will return there.

I needed some glass cut, the big box down the road wouldn't take it out of one sheet but wanted me to buy two. Aubuchon cut it out with out question the price per sheet was only a few cents more but with only buying one sheet it was almost half the price. They are almost alway smiling and carry much more than you would think.
