Excellent traditional local food!!! The restaurant is amazing with all its old wine makers tools! I love the Sancerre omelet with a classic glass of Sancerre! Part of the historical Cafe of Europe! Highly recommended! read more

We walked all of Sancerre looking for the lunch we wanted. The places by the church were too…read moretouristy, the burger joint like every other, and no white tablecloths for the little guy. When we saw Le Bouchon filled with people we knew we were on to something and they did not lead us wrong. The typical salad of Crottignol chaud was perfectly dressed. For a simple meal prepared and served with care, this is the place.

en dehors du vin (le plus chère) le menu que nous avons pris à 25 EUR n'était pas à la hauteur. entrée: aucune présentation aucune imagination, vulgaire salade de tomates avec du fromage et du jambon certes de qualité. le plat de résistance était mieux en qualités mais petites quantités, assiette de fromages (3 minuscules morceaux de crottin qui ce battaient en duel au milieu d'une assiette a entremet. le dessert qui nous paraissait à la hauteur malheureusement c'est avérais être insipide, une poire pochée a l'eau avec une goutte de vin blanc est le sucre était sans doute trop chère aussi.le biscuit avait aucun gout. très déçu par le restaurant qui Apres avoir fait le tour du village nous avaient paru être le mieux. le service était très décevant aussi un serveur qui sert du vin dans les verres a eau qui sert les hommes en premier ou qui vous passe le bras devant le visage pour servir une autre convive ??? en tant que professionnel de la restauration classique (30ANS de métier) je ne conseil pas ce restaurant ps :un peut plus de professionnalisme serait pas de trop. read more
