Good meal, ruined by the service. When we ordered our meals, both of which came with salad and cheese, we were surprised when we were served the salad plates. They were huge, and each came with 2 slices of toast with melted cheese, and delicious slices of ham. Unfortunately, it turns out that the waiter had brought us someone else's main plates, then made us feel bad for not saying anything (which we would have, had we known). I asked our waitress for the wine menu (carte des vins), which never came, and when the waiter came by, I asked for two glasses of red wine, but those never came. We eventually got the meals we originally ordered, after we went to the waitress and asked her about our meal (they were just going to let us eat the mistake they had served to us). The patio is very comfortable, if you aren't sitting in one of the few tables without an umbrella when it starts raining, and why oh why don't all restaurants make their patios non-smoking? The waitress finally came by to check on us, and to ask if we wanted wine, after we were almost done with our meals (we declined). We decided to cut our losses, and not order dessert or coffee. The three waiters were very overwhelmed, running around, and we noticed screw-ups with other tables as well. This could be a very good restaurant, if the service pulls itself together. read more
