Don't be put off by the quaint exterior or the traditional interior of this Alsatian eatery because the food is very good indeed. While one should definitely try the Alsatian dish Flammekueche (or tarte flambée, a sort of pizza base with crème fraîche/fromage blanc , onions and bacon, which you share amongst the table), there is also a range of other regional meat dishes to choose from. Veggies fare well with the Gratinée, on which melted cheese replaces the bacon. As a starter, I would recommend the crudités, a selection of coleslaws and pickles, which is very popular in this part of France. And for dessert, choose the yummy sweet Flammekueche with apples and calvados. Prices are very reasonable and service is efficient and friendly. read more

Sehr guter Flammkuchen, natur, gratiniert oder jeweils mit Knoblauch. Ganz dünner Teig, suuper lecker. Wird auf einem Holzbrett serviert. Nette Gastgeber, alles Hausgemacht. Auch ansonsten sehr gute gehobene Karte zu fairen Preisen. Als Nachtisch zu empfehlen: Der Flammkuchen mit Äpfeln, der am Tisch mit Calvados flambiert wird. read more

Franchement, nous aimons aller au restaurant les dimanche midi et tester quelques restaurants de notre région sans regarder sur le prix. Mais là franchement decu pour le rapport qualité/prix. Une salade soit disant folle (avocat, magret, fois gras )l eau à la bouche, non?se transforme en grande deception dès le départ. 3 tranchettes de canard et 3 petits cubes de fois gras mais bcp de salades!!! La suggestion du jour pas malbrochette de dif. poissons avec St-Jacquesbon. Un cordon bleuje ne sais pas mais moi sans être cuisto il est meilleur, celui-ci trop cuitet le fromage à chercher. 2 adultes-1 petites filles. 1 salades 2 plats 1 plat enfant (spag. avec bcp de viandes mais trop de sauce tomate) 1 apero 1 eau 1/2 vin env. 84 Euro franchement pour ce qu on a mangerOn y retournera pas. read more

Essen nicht elsässisch DEUTSCH eingehaucht!!!! als Vorspeise Froschschenkel mit Knoblauch - viel zu viel Knoblauch wenig Petersilie. Scampis mit billigen fett frittiert, Schneken ohne gehäuse serviert Zander filet- sehr trocken und viel zu viel Sahne abgemischt , Abwertigung sehr schnell Pepsonal unerfahren.
