We stopped in (had eaten there before) and prepared ourselves for a sure to be delicious meal. They have a fun frequently changing menu of small, medium and large plates so you can choose your own foodie adventure. If you want to sit at the bar you get a great view of the chefs at work preparing your meal. If you want a cozier experience, sit in the comfortable seating in the rear of the restaurant. Our server was very attentive but chill and knowledgeable. We got the Utica greens to share as an appetizer, a cocktail and Mad Max local beer, then a burger with hand cut fries and a chicken stuffed poblano. Dessert was a passion fruit chocolate tart which we took to go. If you're looking for well crafted food with a creative twist, this place is a great choice. North country friendly and approachable with a sophisticated set of offerings. Some really unique cocktails too. Not a boring thing on the menu.

It's been a while since I've eaten here and I forgot how much I liked it…read more The old Victorian style historic house turned restaurant is really lovely. The wraparound porch is just so nice to sit outside and eat in warm weather. They really utilize the space well, as it's covered in colder months so you can still sit there. I was here for brunch on Mother's Day with reservations and was seated promptly. Due to the holiday, parking was not possible in their lot as it can only take a few cars. No matter, as we were able to park nearby. Their brunch menu had plenty to choose from. You were given these small carrot cake muffins to start, then a choice of starter and main along with dessert, wow! You also had a few cocktails to choose from and you could also swap out for a mocktail too. It was extremely busy but the staff was attentive and handled our orders with ease. Their attention to detail was so nice. For starters we had a strawberry salad, French onion soup, tuna tartare, coconut shrimp. For mains, the burger, salmon Benedict, chicken and waffles and a Polynesian style breakfast bowl with coconut shrimp, sticky rice, pineapple and greens. Lastly on a full tummy we had coffee with chocolate mousse, strawberry shortcake and peanut butter cheesecake. Spending the morning here for brunch was the perfect way to kick off the day. Brunch was enjoyed by all. On a side note, I've also had dinner here and you can expect the same wonderful experience. I'll be back again!

Hi, wanted to share this eye opening experience. Went last week to get 2 gift cards and was told…read morethey were out of cards and to come back next Tuesday. I went in tonight, Tuesday, to buy 2 $100 gift cards for Christmas gifts and was told they have been out of gift cards for two weeks and will not have gift cards until January 5th and that I can go online and that I can print a piece of paper with my $100 gift on it...? I explained that this was a Christmas gift and that I would like something other than an 11x13 piece of paper with a dollar amount on it that someone could open as a nice gift. They couldn't help me. (Everyone knows Staples can print such cards in a pinch). I thanked them and said that I would try another local restaurant, the reply was "good luck". Good luck, not apologetic and Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays.....just good luck. How sad that the fabric of society has been reduced to this........ I did go to another restaurant down the street and bought the gift certificates from a very gracious bar tender, who I happily tipped and exchanged Christmas greetings. Looking forward to a nice meal and old school charm elsewhere.

Our server was excellent. The food and drinks were very, very good. The warm focaccia served with oil and balsamic could have been my whole meal....super delicious. Yes, I'm a glutton and ordered a second helping of said bread. Overall, it's a very nice space that definitely gets loud when it's busy. My advice is to not be in a rush and don't go hangry if you're dining during prime times. We did order cocktails/mocktails, appetizers, main dishes AND dessert. Everything took quite a while (except dessert and coffee arrived quickly). We all enjoyed our entrees and thankfully, each other's company. We were there for about 2 and a half hours from start to finish.

This warm cocktail was a total delight and absolutely hit the spot. We started with the house bread. I know it sounds like "just bread," but the texture was perfect, and the ricotta honey spread paired with it nicely. For entrées, I had the chicken schnitzel. It was crispy and well-executed, and the beurre blanc was silky and rich. I think it would have been even better with spaetzle, but the portion size was generous on its own--I'm just a starch girlie. My husband ordered the bolognese, which was flavorful and came in a healthy portion. He ended up taking some home, which we love because leftovers are never a bad thing. For dessert, we shared the pot de crème. The balance of caramel, saltiness, and chocolate was the perfect finish. The chocolate was rich and smooth. I also loved the décor--it was such a pleasant surprise to find a place like this in South Glens Falls.

We discovered Morgan & Co. a couple of years ago and it's been one of our go-to places ever since. I'd read about Mint and people liked it a lot so we went there for brunch/lunch a few days ago. It did not disappoint. We had the opportunity to check it out following a wake in Queensbury. Our drinks were very good. My Limoncello Spritzer really hit the spot. My husband was delighted that his Bloody Mary did not include any olives (lol). However, $18 is steep for tomato juice, folks. We shared the Brussel Sprouts as a Starter. Both of us ordered the Crab and Scallop Cake Benny which was topped with hollandais, served on a bed of arugula and accompanied by tasty potatoes. Absolutely delicious! Our server was very nice. She seemed to be handling a lot of the tables and managed it well. We were not rushed nor did we feel neglected. It's a small place, cozy and welcoming. Love the china. There is a parking lot and also street parking. The menu is limited. If you have fussy eaters, you may want to check it out online before making a reservation (which is recommended). I would have given them 4-1/2 but the system doesn't allow it. We will definitely return.
