The disruption, the mess and ultimately the cost can be a headache. We have used Lopez Roofing for our commercial building and just recently our home. We have always found their services to be quick and professional. They had a crew of 10 workman completely replace our roof, added 40 ft of gutters and repaired/painted damaged fascia in less than 12 hours. While one portion of the crew was removing and replacing shingles another was constantly cleaning and sweeping debris. The place was pristine when they left. Although they gave me an initial estimate to complete the job, they were very open to negotiating a cost that was a win win for everybody. Originally I proposed that they give me an estimate for the house only and not the separate garage since I was paying out of pocket and on a budget. They offered to lay a layer of shingles on the separate garage building at no extra cost to match the house. They only thing they required is that I use a slightly different color shingle than what I originally wanted. The color was not a big issue, so I readily agreed. They had no obligation to do that, but they did.As it turns out that house and garage building turned out beautiful. And it was all at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend!

We hired AMG Decks and Arbors to replace a poorly constructed two level deck built by another…read morecompany. That was the smartest choice I have made when hiring anyone. His attention to detail and knowledge of deck building is superior. All the joints are tight, the screws (no nails) evenly spaced and everything is plumb and level. These may seem like little details but it all adds to a beautiful finished product. As a home inspector I see many decks with undersized posts, poor support and inferior products which are used to saving on material costs. Aidan's construction techniques are rock solid which is important since the upper level is 17 feet high. I am pretty sure this deck will outlast me. Aidan also recommended some features I had not considered such as a rain catchment system so we can now sit on the lower deck during and enjoy the rain. He also installed a stainless steel cable rail which allows an unobstructed view of the back yard and green belt. You may be able to find a cheaper deck builder who will slap up some boards onto the back of your house but I pretty sure you will not find who builds a better deck.

First Tim replaced the ugly T-111 siding on my house with Hardie Plank and painted the house. Then I had him enclose my garage which included building closets and opening up walls to add French doors. Sheet rocking, painting, and trim work was done also. The project we just did was replacing an ugly bathtub with a shower enclosure. The area was torn down to the studs and redone. The tile floor was also replaced with nicer tile. Most of the time if you go to a place like Home Depot, Lowes, or a general contractor like State Wide Remodeling (or others) they simply sub out the work and double the price.
