I cannot stress enough how AMAZING this company is. On…read moreAugust 14th I went out shopping for a dress to wear to an upcoming Military Ball. I am a plus sized woman (dress size 20). I called all over Tulsa and most of the places that say they carry plus size either stop at a 14-16 or have larger sizes that look like someone grabbed some drapes and cut holes in them. It is so stressful trying to find formal wear when you are bigger. So, I found a dress online and called the store to confirm that it was in stock. It wasn't, but the nice young lady on the phone told me they do carry plus sizes in store. Inventory was a little low because of prom season ending and homecoming beginning. So I took a chance. I went in expecting the usual treatment. You know the one, not much service, Side eye and looking down the nose at the bigger girl. I've been "plus sized" my whole life, and I'm used to it. Not here, though. I had the nicest woman helping me (I hate that I cannot remember her name). She showed me dress after dress until my friend and I agreed on the perfect one. THEN, rather than making me buy this dress and having to pay for serious alterations, she took my measurements and ordered the size I needed! These were not cheaply made David's Bridal type dresses. These dresses are amazing AND competitively priced!! I believe I saw sizes in store up to a 28. Ladies, I will likely never go anywhere else. I have never been treated so well in a store and I am so grateful I could cry.

Zipper went up with ease, got it to the top and it came completely apart. We had to sew my daughter into dress. It was an awful situation. We only had a short amount of time and had to worry through whole night that dress will hold up. Took video to show that it was broke, left voicemail with shop. Owner called Monday. Told me she recieved my voicemail and that that is not possible with that gown. Offered to pay for a new zipper (just the zipper, not the installation). Owner is new this year, we have always bought deesses there in the past. We will never shop their again.

Oklahoma Souvenirs and food?…read more I don't believe that I have ever walked out of 1907 without some unique find. The store is a combination of touristy Oklahoma souvenirs: shirts, hats, thermal coffee tumblers, with a few antiques and collectables scattered about. Many MIO items, which is why I like the store. Today I picked up a handmade wood business card holder. The young lady working the store said her grandpa made it! My wife got some kind of "goat soap." Always very friendly service here. Over the summer months there has been a Hot Dog cart working in front of their other building. They were taking advantage of the nearby construction work and also the farmers market crowd. 1907 now has a food trailer set up there. Convenient. Just across the street, Broken Arrow's ice-skating rink is up and running for the winter months. I am not sure what 1907 will be serving, but hot chocolate would be good, after a few falls on the ice!

Once I walk in, I see all kinds of eye catching colors & articles of clothing. Clothes on the left wall, right wall & right in the middle... plenty to choose from. What's funny is a day or so before the visit, I was telling myself how I wanted more buttoned short sleeved shirts & I found two at great prices. Both shirts were $10 a piece & there were other pieces I went back & forth on that averaged around $8-15. I look forward to coming back more often because I enjoyed a lot of selections that weren't in my size, which made me on the hunt for more of the inventory whenever it's updated. Shelby, the owner, was super nice. She was also telling us about a special they were having with certain discounts on jackets & sweaters. I shop at all the resale and thrift stores in the Tulsa area and even though I'm older I wear stylish and boho clothes. While they were looking through my stuff I shopped their tops and was sadly disappointed in the selection. I told them that this is not a "family" resale store because they only have teen or 20 year old clothes. I really couldn't believe how much good stuff of mine they rejected - twice. I found one top that was moderately cute and bought it the last time I was there. When I lived in another city I consigned my clothes and made lots of money so I know my stuff is very sellable.
