Dr. Harmon's care is simply the best. He has cared for my husband and his chronic, intermittently…read moreacute condition for 4 years, and my husband would not trust his care to another unless Dr. Harmon was not available. Dr. Harmon's assistant, Sara, also provides prompt, kind, and efficient care. Conversely, office staff answering phones, scheduling staff routinely and with worsening results do not understand and/or pass on correct information. They also seem to run interference and insist they cannot schedule for Dr. Harmon and my husband must see another provider. Once this resulted in an N.P. referring him to another doctor to do a hospital procedure that was inconclusive because that doctor did not get adequate biopsies; following that, when my husband was able to see Dr. Harmon, he advised he never would have done such a procedure at all. When we can't get through to Dr. Har.on for days now, because Sara is on medical leave and the new office manager is on I definite leave, we are so frustrated. This practice must make changes and be accountable for ALL patient care!

I felt that I was treated poorly during my appointment and, because of that experience, I contacted the office afterward and requested to see a different provider. I did not ask to leave the practice--I simply wanted to continue receiving care from another provider within the practice. I spoke with a supervisor about my concerns and my request to change providers. I was then left waiting for approximately a month without receiving a call back or an update. When I finally called the office myself today to follow up, I was told that I was being dismissed from the practice. What is especially upsetting is that I was trying to find a solution so I could continue receiving care. Instead of addressing my concerns or helping me transfer to another provider, I was ultimately told that I could no longer receive care at the practice. Patients should feel comfortable speaking up when they have concerns about their medical care. My experience left me feeling unheard and extremely disappointed with how my concerns and request were handled. I hope the practice takes a closer look at how situations like this are handled in the future.
