My ability to pay online was terminated over an issue with my roommate's account. I was never notified that it was terminated and when I logged in to pay rent, surprise I can no longer pay online. Instead of being helpful and fixing the issue like she had the ability to do, my property manager threatened me with late fees if I did not drop off a certified check with only several hours notice. She was also extremely unresponsive to maintenance requests. I was told that wires coming down in the yard and tearing siding off the house was "beyond a normal maintenance request" and I would need to get the problem fixed myself. If the roof fell in would that be beyond a normal request and on me to fix?! Oh and she also tried to schedule the walk through several days before my move out date and before I had the place professionally cleaned. I got her to change the date but it didn't really matter because she charged me for having the place cleaned again anyways! Oh well, at this point I was already so over Silver River and their ridiculous antics. I am so relieved to be moved out of their property and into a rental where I am actually communicated with and treated with respect. I would not recommend moving into any of their properties under any circumstances, they do not have the tenant's best interest in mind, clearly they are just trying to make a buck for the property owners.

My husband and I decided to use BMG to manage our town home after reading their reviews on other…read moresites and finding out that they managed several other similar homes in the area. The Good: They found an applicant to rent our house out at their initial suggested price, which was higher than the price we would've accepted. The whole process from initial contract to move-in of the tenant took about two and a half months, which we felt was a reasonable time frame overall. The company they work with for repairs is very prompt and responsive. Generally BMG's team is also very prompt with their communications. The Bad: Internal communication within BMG is atrocious. They went against our explicit instructions several times. They ignored potential safety issues we'd notified them of until after they'd already shown the property and then suddenly made it into an issue that warranted taking it off the market. My husband and I had to stay actively involved in the entire process because we could not trust them to act in our best interests. We expressed our frustrations multiple times and no changes were made to improve things. The maintenance company they work with is expensive, and because of the poor communication by the time BMG setup repairs we'd wasted a lot of time and didn't want to lose more money shopping around for quotes. We also found out that the maintenance company BMG uses actually charges MORE when you go through BMG versus working with the company directly. Finally, while individual BMG employees were usually prompt in their responses, getting actual information was very hit-or-miss. On more than one occasion we received a reply stating that we'd be sent something by COB, only to get it more than a week later; or we've been told we would get confirmation via email on what was discussed by phone/text, but never actually received that confirmation. Final Impression: As frustrating as the process has been, BMG did find and move in a tenant, and we still don't want to actively manage the property ourselves. Based on our experience thus far I would not recommend this company, but we will now be working with one primary person instead of several and I'm hopeful this will solve a lot of our issues so I'm reserving final judgement for a few months.

I had to park on the street while pregnant. They are still representing the property with the lein(14117 bowsprit unit 308) and on the posting they claim that the tenant will get a parking pass and pool access. It is false. I've had over 10 conversations and emails with property manager while living there. The issue was never escalated to her manager. They were slow to handle EVERY single issue. The cherry on top is that they kept my security deposit citing issues that were actually there upon move in. I am done talking to them. They are frauds. Beware!

We asked them if they would hold our apartment for an extra week so that if OSU beat Michican we could stay for the big 10 championships, and they did! One of the best things about staying here is the company's flexibility and willingness to work with you. The workout facility is state of the art with Peloton bikes, stairmasters, ellipticals and weight equipment. The fitness center was open 24 hours a day, another plus. We would definitely stay here again, great location, safe, walking distance from restaurants, the football stadium and bars.Thanks for a great three months, the only thing that could have made it better is if we beat Michigan! Lots of Buckeye athletes live here, super fun to hang with them.

After moving out and giving proper notice, she attempted to keep our security deposit, and only returned it after we threatened to sue her, and contacting the DC Tenants Rights Office, which said this woman was totally in the wrong. It's a real shame she has ownership of such a beautiful house in Columbia Heights; it'd be in much better hands with just about anyone else. If this is how she treats her own property, I can't imagine her outcomes as a real estate agent would be any better.

This unit was a one bedroom basement apartment that was bug infested and flooded for the first six months every time there was a rain storm to the point where the Landlord had to pay for a hotel stay for me to dig up the whole apartment and reroute the water because every time it rained it was a swimming pool in the whole apartment. I had to call the district on this company several times in order to get maintenance done First of which they wanted me to spend the weekend with no heat in the middle of the winter because they didn't want to pay a contractor to fix the Furnace. I had to call the district in order to them to get it done.
