Following house visits/sales pitches from three companies, we chose Texas Made Windows and More to…read morereplace the 40+ windows in our home. They were not the most nor least expensive options, but wowed us with their customer service, industry knowledge and written warranty policy. They also came highly recommended by neighbors and online reviews alike. During installation the crew noted malfunctions with four of the windows received and installed. We had three subsequent house visits/window inspections from Jerry, his son & a regional representative (of note, these took MONTHS and repeated calls to execute). During these inspections various issues with installation were noted and recorded to include missing plugs, chips in windowsills from install, gaps in surrounding window material, and windows screens that don't cover the entire window opening as ordered/designed. Additionally, one large picture window has a very noticeable defect in the middle (as explained by the regional representative it is a blob of glue from the manufacturing process). Despite multiple post-installation inspections, accompanied by written and verbal confirmation of defects with intent to replace or repair, like other reviewers we too have been met with silence from Texas Made Windows and More. Phone calls are not answered and voicemails are not returned. This was a significant expense. Texas Made Windows and More, through their continued silence, has made it clear the defects and promised corrections (despite being provided in writing) will never occur. We do not recommend using Texas Made Windows and More for window replacement services.

Texas Made Windows and More, LLC and Jerry Dixon, Bill Dixon, Zachary Dixon, et al,...AVOID AT ALL…read moreCOSTS!!! I'm posting this text of a BBB complaint made on 6 August on behalf of a friend and neighbor: On 29 January 2025, I signed a contract with Jerry Dixon of Texas Made Windows to acquire windows from a window manufacturer and install same in my whole house with a total contract value of $27,000. On 29 January, I paid 50% down of $13,500 via check and on 31 January paid an additional 25% down of $6750 via check, for a 75% down payment of $20,250. The 29 January contract noted an anticipated delivery time of the windows from the manufacturer of 4-6 weeks, which would be no later than mid-March. Due to TMW's non-performance of the 29 January contract and as amended, and in material breach thereof, I agreed to meet with Jerry Dixon in person on 27 June to discuss a refund, which resulted in the signing a second contract in which TMW agreed to refund me $17,820 via cashier's check to be hand delivered to me at my home no later than 18 July. Due to TMW's non-performance of the 27 June contract, TMW is in material breach of that contract as well. For virtually the entire time since the original contract was signed, communication from TMW on the status of my window order and also since the refund contract was signed, communication from TMW on the status of my order/refund has been evasive at best and nonexistent at worst. Accordingly, due to TMW materially breaching two contracts and holding my $20,250 since 31 January, I sent a legal demand letter mailed on 25 July via certified mail, return receipt requested, with receipt signed by Jerry Dixon on 29 July, that TMW immediately refund the full contract amount of $20,250 and remit full payment via cashier's check made out to "REDACTED" within ten (10) business days from 25 July 2025, or 8 August 2025. As of the date of the BBB complaint [6 August], no reply or contact has been made by TMW.

Texas Shield Insulation - Open cell spray foam on exterior walls and ceiling

Texas Shield Insulation provided spray foam insulation services at my residence. The scope of work…read moreincluded spraying a 2 inch thick application of closed cell foam to 600 sq feet of crawlspace floorboards and 90 linear feet of brick perimeter wall. The quote was prompt and competitive. I selected them to do the job based on service explanation and start date availability both of which were excellent. The installation process was smooth. I did a brief inspection (brief...mainly due to the fumes) post install and found a 10 square foot area that was missed during the spraying process, the crew promptly went back down and finished that area. Payment in full was rendered and the ventilation fans were placed. A week later I did a more complete inspection of the completed work. Unfortunately a week later (once fumed had cleared, I found several (maybe a dozen or so in varying sizes from 3 square inches to square foot) additional missed areas. Additionally many adjacent areas seemed thinner than 2 inches inch thickness that I paint for. So I called the company and described this to them, Danelle told me that a crew would come by Monday morning at 0900 to touch up the missed areas. Monday came and went without any appearance or word from the company. Very usually. I'm not the type to keep calling back. I can buy a few cans of spray foam and finish the job I paid Texas Shield Insulation to do. But overall nice people and professional appearance, but quality control is lacking.

My attic was insulated by the end of the week. From the office to the install crew all were very professional. They even came out to inspect the depth of insulation and to be sure everything was neat and clean, which it was. Danelle in the office was kind enough to apply for the CPS Rebate for me. The new insulation makes a huge difference in the temperature of the house, almost 10 degrees upstairs. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.

The rep said I would have my check in 90 days. He said they complete the paperwork and the check would come in the mail. After repeated phone calls over the last year. EAS/Will Fix it has given me nothing but a run the around. I've spoken to five or 6 different people. Finally spoke to their Customer Quality Manager Nicole. She stated on two different occasions that see's I'm due the rebate and apologized. She said she would send the check right away, TWICE. Well come to find out EAS/Will Fix it never submitted the rebate application like they said. All they did was lie to me from the very start. Do not trust them to do what they say they're going to do. It feels rare to have a company take a review/complaint as seriously as ours was, but Jasmin had clearly reviewed our file, their in house notes, and was very serious about seeing if there was anything she could do to ensure we didn't have a bad taste left in our mouth. She apologized sincerely, was very honest and direct about what went wrong on their end, and shared what steps they have taken/are taking to ensure this doesn't happen again in the future. She also gave me a direct number so that if we want to have the spilled radiant barrier removed we can contact her for that and assured us that if we have any issues with the CPS rebate they will work directly with the company to ensure we get any credit we are due. While it is always nice when things go well the first time around, no one is perfect and I appreciate the professionalism shown by Jasmin and her company at this stage to move forward and improve. EAS has moved up to 3.5 stars in my book, definitely. :)
